Our room cost £80 per night which for a pub/hotel is quite expensive but it had a Four Poster so we were looking forward to staying. We were heading to Castelton for a gig in the Devils A*** (Peak Cavern) and we only needed to stay one night but most hotels in Castleton have a minimum 2 night rule so...

Loved this Hotel. Great food for breakfast ( which is included in the price) and dinner in the evening. We stayed in the delux room which was lovely. Everything tastefully decorated . So nice to walk straight out onto the street for a wander through the village. The township of Castleton is a handy short drive to other small villages...

I stayed here for one night with my partner. Our room was one of the cheapest but was beautiful. It was clean, the bed was lovely and comfortable and the furniture was very authentic looking. The en suite had a toilet, sink and shower and was very modern. The room has lots of lovely drink sachets, including hot chocolate, a small...

Me and my partner decided to spend a night in castleton as we had a few activities booked over the weekend, after a huge struggle to find a room for a 1 night stay anywhere in castleton the staff here were very helpful and advised they had a room they could give us for the Saturday night! It was one...

This was our 4th year to The Nags Head and it didn't disappoint. Some of our rooms had a makeover and refurbished Bathrooms which were a nice surprise. Staff always friendly and helpful, Lauren was great and had already sorted out our rooms for next year too! Must mention the food before I go, which we all enjoyed, a good...

One of the best. Taken the wife round Castleton and just walked in off the street and booked the room. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The food was top quality, and the rooms were small but ideal for the both off us. We WILL be back for another night there.

My husband booked us in here spur of the moment while on an afternoon out in Castleton. We had walked by numerous times in the past but this time a sign advertising 4 poster beds caught my eye. We had Winnatts room...a deluxe with 4 poster. We wanted a jacuzzi room as well but they were already booked. It really...

What a fantastic location.....a great base for exploring the Derbyshire dales. We arrived after 9pm on a Friday evening and they were no longer serving food. We were starving and nowhere was serving. Wished they'd offered us a sandwich or even some bread. We stayed in the room with the spa bath but when we tried to use it lots...

This hotel is a brilliant base to explore the Peaks. On arrival we had a warm welcome and our room was spotlessly clean with generous amounts of tea/coffee and complementary water. The breakfasts were freshly cooked to order. There is a wide choice on the evening meal menu and the atmosphere in the bar was friendly and busy. For those of...
