Excellent B&B in a fantastic location for getting around the Peak District. My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the great food and friendly staff. The room was very clean and the bed so comfortable it was difficult to get up in time for breakfast but we were glad we did as you couldn't wish...

Well worth the drive, we only intended having drinks but decided to have a snack after seeing some of the other customers eating. As we were having a meal later in the day we tried the sandwiches and cannot fault them at all. The staff were friendly and chatty.

We went to the Yorkshire Bridge to celebrate my birthday. I had never been before but my husband had and decided to take me for a surprise Sunday lunch. The scenery is breathtaking and the place itself is extremely welcoming. We sat in the conservatory which was full and I ordered Aberdeen Angus Beef which came with roast potatoes, new...

We stayed a night here on our way further north, very glad we did. We were upgraded to a very nice room which had direct access to outside and we were able to park our car outside, very handy when loading our luggage. We had lunch dinner and breakfast whilst here, food is of a very high standard. Staff are...

Stayed at the Yorkshire Bridge Inn for 4 nights, great location for walking around nearby 'Dam Busters' reservoir and fantastic scenery. Easy access to Sheffield by car and nearby Castleton, Blue John mines etc. Accommodation clean and well presented, staff very friendly, food good, nice beer on tap. Great time all round!

Very good food, clean and friendly. Could do with some more comfortable chairs for after the food, but well worth it. Will be calling again soon. The scenery around is breath taking. Only down side was the noisy water pipes.

Just eaten roast lamb rump with vegetables there, and it wasn't worth anywhere near the price. Small portion of lamb, served in a sauce with vegetables.... Nothing tasted of anything! Had to douse it in salt to get any flavour. The couple on the next table ordered scampi, and I noticed they left most of it. The couple on the...

Fantastic B&B, lovely setting, the rooms were comfortable and clean and had everything you needed (loved the fresh milk and home made biscuits). The food was superb, fresh and very tasty. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was very relaxed making sure you got anything you wanted. Next time we are in the peaks we know where...

Barman gave the impression we were an inconvenience, neither chatty or uttered any word of greeting. We supped up rather average beer and left, a shame as a delightful roadside situation. We had called a couple of years ago for an enjoyable lunch but won't be returning!
