Tissington Ford Barn accommodates 6 to 12 persons and is set in the glorious English countryside with walks directly from its doorstep. Designed to give our guests elegance with comfort and furnished with a contemporary country-style ambience. The perfect place to unwind after your sightseeing and walks. The Barn is adjacent to a footpath and stream. It joins the High Peak and Tissington Trail offering good walking and cycling opportunities. The Peak District National Park offers an abundance of walks and is close to the famous Dove Dales. Historic houses such as Sudbury Hall, Chatsworth House, Bakewell Town and Haddon Hall are only 25 minutes drive away as well as Alton Towers Theme Park. Ashbourne Town is only 3 miles away and is a pretty market town offering a variety of food stores, antique and gift shops and numerous cafe stops. More of the peak park is easily accessible and Bakewell and Matlock are only 20 mins away by car.

Wow this place is stunning! We stayed here for our annual university reunion and had a great time. From booking with Sophie who we received great customer service from, everything was hassle free. David the owner called on the first night just to check everything was ok which was a lovely touch as was the welcome hamper and the Christmas decorations. The property is renovated to a high standard. The living room and kitchen are so cosy and all of the bedrooms are beautiful. Two of the bedrooms are in a separate building both with en-suites and a small kitchen area. Lots of lovely walks from the barn and the hot tub was fab! We would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

Fabulous place for a girls weekend - 40th Birthday Celebrations ! We loved the hot tub and the walks straight from the cottage. Tissington is lovely as well. We had a gorgeous meal and cocktails out in Ashbourne and had Afternoon Tea delivered to the cottage. All in all a relaxing weekend catching up with friends. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for us all to be comfortable and get ready in. Gorgeous spacious living room with log fire and a big sociable kitchen. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival.

Wow is all you can really say about this property and the amazing customer service/support from Sophie. Sophie is fantastic with helping you plan for your break with Tissington. She organised everything. Sorted balloons and banners and was always there when we had any questions. The property is beautiful and done to a high spec, hot tub was great too. We had an issue on the first evening with the oven but one call to Sophie and the owners were round straight away and sorted the issue. Thankfully they had turned up at the right time as one of our party had not yet arrived and was panicked in her car as she was lost in the countryside. The owner went out to find her and showed her the way back to Tissington. Lovely people. We had a fantastic time and everyone had a comfortable nights sleep. Thank you Tissington we will be back! You can't help but be swept away with this gorgeous barn conversion. My family &I were blessed to celebrate my 50th birthday here. It is a lovingly, interior designed peaceful dwelling surrounded by beautiful countryside &loving views of rolling hills. WE were all guaranteed to be happy with the most breathtaking interior designed &romantic bedrooms. The outside space was just perfect for alfresco dining &sun worshipping. One of the many highlights of our beautiful homestay was the Welcome Pack&incredible hamper. The owners suggested many walks in the stunning Peak District National Park, perfect for all the family with wonderful pubs to dine &drink. The kitchen was epic! A super spacious size equipped with all that you could ever need&more. I truely had the most fabulous time at Tissington Ford Barn&can't wait to make more happy memories here next year.…
