Was pleasantly surprised when I got to the single room. Looked recently refurbished and seemed perfectly fine. Bed is very high from the floor. Bathroom lovely. Had a shower though, and was only when getting out of the shower, found that the towel had obviously been covered in black oil before, been washed, and then placed in my room, with...

Good afternoon Paul, A review expressing both negative and positive aspects of your recent stay, shows that you have taken time to consider a balanced assessment. I am sorry for the codition of the bathroom linen, and the spent bulb...these should not have been overlooked, although it is pleasing that you found the levels of houskeeping generally to be 'spotless'...

Stayed here for one night and did what I needed which was a bed for the night. At £55 a little more expensive than staying as I normally do in a Travelodge. Room was clean and comfortable and a bonus double bed when was only expecting a single from the pictures on Booking.com. Would stay here again if in the...

Good Evening fellow Cumbrian, Thank you for your kind recommendation for The Sleepwell Inn. It is always pleasing when guests take the time to observe then post comments on the cleanliness and comfort of the bedrooms. We do endeavor to upgrade free of charge whenever we do have a larger room or bed available, although this can not always be...

The Sleepwell Inn is the sister hotel of the Washington Central Hotel. This is a smaller hotel and was room omly. This hotel however was extremely clean and room sizes were larger than normal. The interior of the hotel is impressive and worth viewing. Wouldn't recommend for families due to no breakfast being available. There is no service at this...

Good afternoon Mr and Mrs Dorans, Thank you for taking your valuable time to post a review on trip advisor. We value all reviews whether they are of a positive or negative nature, unfortunately on this occasion your review falls into the latter category. Your observations on the levels of housekeeping, do surprise myself and the housekeeping team, as we...

We made a last minute (on the day) booking via booking.com to stay here as we were passing through to visit Keswick. The Sleepwell is part of the Central Hotel which is located just across the street and is where check-in takes place. We were surprised when we got our keys and returned to our building; to find the beautifully...

Aimee, thank you for your reservation and a genuine accurate review of our Sleepwell Inn facility. Your appreciation of the décor, maintenance and cleanliness is most welcome. As a town centre hotel noise can be an issue at times from the nearby roads or local bars. We are a privately owned family establishment, managed from The Washington Central hotel. So...

We stayed here for a long weekend. I was contacted by one of the staff to ask what time we expected to be arriving as we had resquested an early check in. (Yes, they do do them!) Imagine the surprise when the receptionist from the hotel over the road advises that we could get into our room until 2pm! What...

Thank you very much for taking the time to post a review for the Sleepwell Inn. We are pleased that you found the facilities to be clean and modern with efficient staff. Our town centre location can cause parking issues , however we do have additional free parking nearby. Please ask at reception on your next visit and they will...

I booked in four nights, car parking an initial issue, where is it? then reception.. where is it? found all that, turning into a push-me-pull-you!! (going over the road and back). The room was different a sort of bendy road shape (best describes it) very well presented until I went to sleep!! I'm sure the guy next door had a...

First off, the gentleman on reception upon check in was extremely welcoming and a friendly individual who helped with an array or questions I had regarding the limited parking, use of facilities, local area etc. Cannot fault him at all...but after that things went a little downhill. I was staying in the residence across the road called the Sleepwell Inn...

Recently stayed at The Sleepwell Inn, (last weekend). We know Workington well and knew this converted bar is very well located right in the centre of town, so great for night life, the closest and one of the busiest bars in town, Yankees only about 25 metres away. The reception is unfortunately located in the sister hotel about 150 metres...

The bedroom was fine, clean and tidy, although the bed was very hard and one of the chairs was a little tired. The staff at the reception (in the Washington Hotel across the road) were helpful and cheerful despite our delayed late night check-in. The breakfast, also across the road, was good and again the staff were helpful and friendly....
