A nice old pub in a very traditional town, not far from the Dales Way. The food was good and the staff were pleasant. However, my room was on the small side and was right over the kitchen and was very hot all night. The wifi was not great.

Nice and clean rooms and has free wifi. Nice facilities in the rooms also and the breakfast was really good. The ladies who served me breakfast gave the best and most polite service I have ever received. The bar has really good ale on and all the staff are really friendly. Especially one called Kath. She was really sweet 👍

We only booked at 3pm & were there for 4:30pm. A lovely warm welcome from Carol who showed us to room5 which is bijou but very comfortable & cosy. We intended to visit the other pubs in the town as well but as it was raining we didn't venture out of the Dalesman bar. We found a nice corner of...

A small group of walkers stayed at this hotel for one night. Service was fine during the stay, but subsequently it was very disappointing. One of our bags was not picked up to be delivered to the next location along the Dales Way. This was not the fault of the Inn, but several people tried to contact the Inn to find...

A country style hotel in the centre of the town. We enjoyed food in the restaurant and were well attended to by the friendly waitress. The town is a good starting point for the western Yorkshie Dales, an excellent Tourist Information Centre run by volunteers

Food good but prices out of synch with other pubs around here. The burger was excellent as was the pizza. The staff were efficient but disinterested and brought a side order of chips instead of salad which they fixed without fuss. Decor pleasant with some interesting oddities not the most inspired selection of cider but the ales and spirits were...

The pub is nicely set out and clean. I wasn't keen on the stuffed dead animals everywhere and in case you are similar include photos. The room was 100% as described small and hot, but they provide a fan to make it cool enough to sleep. I had a very good night sleep. There is a kettle in the room...

I paid the best rate in the place and wasn't disappointed. Amazing room - really nice - spacious - nice bathroom and enormous bed. Food was delicious and too much of it - couldn't eat it all. The only problem I had which was not the hotel's fault was that I was in the room that overlooked the street and...

Lovely, clean, comfortable room in the old pub. Excellent evening meal - best gammon steak my husband has had in years. Very good breakfast. Welcoming staff. Good location for a stopover on the journey to Scotland as only 5 miles off the M6.
