Good to be back again it's beginning to feel like our second home. I think this is the sixth time we have stayed here in five years and I have to say these are the nicest people my husband and myself have met. We are always greeted with a smile and a chat on a morning to catch up on...

Me & my wife traveled to the Dales for a short walking holiday, just 3 nights. We found this B&B on TripAdvisor, and quickly booked due to the many excellent reviews. We arrived on Friday evening and were given a warm welcome by Karen who showed us around the B&B, room and facilities. Free Parking is available around the back...

Had a great weekend here with my friend as we completed the three peaks challenge. The pub next door does fantastic home cooked food and we'd stay there again for the pub alone. The B and B is in a great location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and the couple that run the B and B are lovely. The only...

Great find. Lovely room with a little sitting room. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast and packed lunch. Exactly what we wanted. Lashings of hot water in the bathroom. Books, maps, DVDs, games to borrow if you want.

my wife and I travelled from Glasgow to Oxford for a weekend break and decided to stop off here to break the return journey. when we arrived we were met at the door by Peter who took us to our room and talked us through everything even explaining how to open the front door. The room was spotless as was...

I don't understand why this B&B is described as 'luxury'. Access to our room was by a narrow, confined stair. The room had two very small windows and felt claustrophobic. The ensuite was small and cramped. The shower had only one temperature - scalding! Arrival time is 4pm and we arrived at 3.50pm. The owners were clearly in the house...

Hello, Thank you very much for your review. We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit with us. On our details we try and explain fully that we are in a countryside location but I do not think that 'bleak' is a fair description of the Yorkshire Dales. We appreciate that you may have been...

We are a young(ish) couple and were seeking a remote country escape. The Garsdale was exactly what we hoped for. Incredible surroundings right in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with suberb views 360º. The market town of Hawes was just a 10 minute drive away where we enjoyed a nice evening meal. The Garsdale owners were incredibly...

Unexpectedly high standards throughout. Pub next door. Rather remote location. Good for walking and those interested in the natural environment. We both loved it. We'd like to return but a bit of a hike from Loughborough!

Where do I start. Genuine oak beams in the bed room. State of the art shower!!! huge fluffy bath sheets and wonderfully soft bath robes and a sitting room for lounging in. THEN a huge breakfast to die for. We couldn't eat any more until evening meal time. The hosts Karen and Peter were so fantastic, nothing was too much...

Myself, my wife and Scooby the Dalmatian stayed at the Garsdale for two nights while we walked the 3 Yorkshire Peaks. The owners were fantastic, the accommodation is excellent, beautifully clean and the rooms are excellently furnished. This is a gem of a B&B to base yourself from on any visit to this area of Yorkshire, beware - the breakfasts...
