Went here last night for food with friends. All local to Hawes but haven't been since the new owners took over. Have to say the refurb is amazing what a difference I felt like i was in a different place. Staff were very good and attentive which was lovely. Food was great and huge portions. The menu is limited at...

Came across this Inn by chance as had been for a drive, were hungry and saw this Inn, very hospitable people, lovely bar maid who was so helpful and could not have done more. Lovely lovely menu and had steak pie which was beautiful and full of meat, pastry was awesome too. Lovely atmosphere, followed by an ice cream sundae...

Stopped by chance and were welcomed, even with three dogs. Beautiful hospitality and very appetising food, can recommend the meat pie, mind you all the other dishes looked just as good. Nothing too much trouble with very attentive young bar lady and the chef.

The owner is my cousins daughter but this review is based on the reactions of my unrelated friends as well as my own objective observations. After a drink whilst ordering, seated comfortably on leather sofas, we went to our table in the dining/ bar area with several fellow diners. The home made liver pate with mounds of toast and butter...

Newly refurbished (long overdue) and now clean and refreshing. Called in on Sunday evening for a quick drink and ended up staying for a meal 'til closing time. Very friendly and welcoming new owners - Good beer, comfy bar area and a steak pie to die for !

What a transformation the pub has had, it was much needed. A 10 day turn around and it looks great still has a country pub feel but with a modern twist. The beer was good and my breakfast was lovely. Staff and owners very friendly. A prefect stopping point for cyclist and walkers.

We stopped by for lunch. The women running the pub were chatty and friendly. The pub itself was a bit tired but I'm sure it works well as a local hangout. A decent pub menu. I enjoyed my scampi but the chip oil had probably seen better days.
