I booked Muncaster while working at Sellafield for a short stay B&B as I had previously stayed there under different owners. One year later I was still there due to the fabulous cooking of Vinnie and the way I was made to feel at home.Fantastic facility, very clean and food was top notch and the reason I put on a...

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding. Nice little room with kitchenette and the owners were really helpful whenever we had contact with them. Tasty breakfast! Very beautiful area, the views from in front of Muncastle castle down the road are absolutely stunning!

We stayed with our 2 "boys", well they are in our eyes, and daughter and 16 month grand daughter for two nights in order to visit nearby family. Three adjacent rooms were available to us, all of which were well appointed and comfortable. We had breakfasts both days, the choice was great and freshly cooked. The coffee was really good...

Sue and Vin could not have been more helpful when I found myself locked out of my car, offering assistance, a cup of tea, and the use of their phone, and a seat in the warmth. The guest house is obviously well-appointed and in a very good location.

Fabulously appointed Guest House, Friendly hosts, comfy rooms, great traditional English Breakfast. Good location for Western Lake District. Roads are not fast and some are very narrow, but that adds to the charm. The scenery is stunning.

Stayed here whilst doing a long trek in the Lakes. Accommodation very very comfortable, with an "honesty bar". We'll looked after by the owners, sumptuous breakfast and a lovely comfortable bed...just what we needed!

When we arrived we were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in through the door. We had arrived with a couple of friends on our trikes for the weekend to ride around and see the sights. The Owners Sue and Vin couldn't have been more accommodating, giving us some ideas of places to visit, nothing was too much...

I stayed for 3 nights on business. The guest house has everything a business traveler needs. On arrival the proprietor offered me a tea or coffee, and left an honesty bar for a nip before going to bed if needed. Great breakfast etc. I always took my bike on trips and the guest house is slap bang on the Esk...

My wife and I spent two nights here while visiting the area. We were met by Vin, who made us a lovely pot of tea whilst we settled in to room 3 (which is a family room with king size bed and 2 single beds, bathroom with bath/shower). Tea, coffee, Hot Chocolate a kettle and biscuits are provided in the...
