This journey is excellent following the coast most of the way, we decided, this time, to break the journey for a night and booked blind at rose garth, this proved to be an excellent decision as the place was brilliant !! lovely room (room 6) , fantastic breakfast and very friendly owner and staff. We will go again.

Just stopped for a quick lunch when returning home from Wasdale. On a sunny day there are few places nicer than Ravenglass for a snack and coffee or a beer outside one of the pubs or cafes on the front overlooking the estuary. This was our first visit to the Rosemount, but everything was spot on, friendly service, and a...

Rosegarth is a lovely B&B with most rooms enjoying a wonderful view of the estuary. Room number Six (Sethera!) came with a large, extremely comfortable bed and a really great power shower. Breakfast was prompt, plentiful and delicious - the buttery scrambled eggs (with salmon!) was the best thing I've ever eaten at breakfast!! Ravenglass is only a small place...

Our first nights stop, warmly greeted and good secure cycle storage. The whole house is immaculate, large bedroom and great shower, luxury towels and very good breakfast selection. Has to be one of the top B&B experiences in the area. Our room looked over the beach and sea (when the tide is in) Good evening dinner food and local beers...

Neil is the perfect host and Rosegarth is a lovely B&B with a really homely feel. Ravenglass is a very pretty and tranquil village in Cumbria, and the perfect base from which to visit other attractions in the region. The sea views from the guesthouse are stunning, and the beach is just steps away from the front door! If you...

This is a wonderful B&B with a very friendly welcome and excellent service including maps and good advice on where to visit and eat. We stayed for three nights in room 6 which was so lovely with stunning views across the estuary, especially at sunset. The breakfast was superb and seemed to get bigger each morning (probably the best B&B...

Very good B&B in a lovely coastal village. Excellent restaurants near by. Very friendly staff. I stayed in the single room, which was pretty small but came with wifi and a tv. Good views of the estuary. Perfect place to stay before catching the railway up into Eskdale.
