My husband and I stayed at this B & B on our recent trip to England. We were greeted with a warm welcome and showed to a clean well presented room with amazing views of the harbour and beyond to Scotland. Very reasonably priced and the softness of the towels was amazing. Thank you Joe and Gwen for making our stay very pleasurable.

My mother and I stayed at Shore Walk on a recent 'girl's trip' to the UK from Australia. My mother (who was born in Northern Ireland) spent many seaside holidays in Maryport as a youngster, while visiting her own mother's family who lived in a terrace on King Street. It was my mother's second stay at Shore Walk and my first. Our hosts, Joe and Gwen, are the friendliest and kindest people you will ever meet. We felt very welcome and by the end of our four-night stay, we felt like family. We even had a drink with them in town! On a practical note, the beds are very comfortable and our room had amazing views over the town and Solway. We slept very well indeed. (Perhaps it was the Guinness that helped, hey Joe?) Highly recommended!

I had walked from Workington on a dull and windy "summers day" and was warmly welcomed at Shore Walk. The comfortable clean room overlooking the harbour was just what was needed. After a shower in the en suite bathroom and fish and chips at a local pub recommended by Gwen, I had a good night's sleep ready for the next stage of my walk. Breakfast was good and kept me going. Good value and recommended.

Had one night at Shore Walk B @ B. Our room was lovely, very clean and pretty with a great view over the bay. There was a large en-suite which was nicely appointed. Lovely hot breakfast set us up for the day. Gwen and Joe were very friendly and helpful, keen to make sure everything was OK for us. Highly recommended.
