We booked a 10th wedding anniversay celebration stay. A lovely touch of good wishes message & chocalates. A relaxed & informal atmosphere in all areas of the hotel. Funky stylish decor, Espa toiletries in all wash facilities & rooms, fabulous! An al a cartè evening menu would have been a big plus. Saying that the food we had was nice....

Well worth a visit lovely hotel with a very special outside front terrace with seating to look at the bridge and river, there are some smaller rooms to sit in private to have informal meetings. The food and service was top class with special knowledge of food intolerances.

Food is always good and service very good. Menu good and specials are very tempting. Sunday roasts are best in area! Very good for family meals and ales are quality! When the suns out the riverside is good.

Called in for a snack and tea and coffee.Lovely riverside location and ample seats outside.Food was ok - nothing special.Sad sight to see empty drink glasses and plates on the tables outside that should have been cleared away much sooner.Worth a visit.

Eaten at The Swan a few times now - no complaints at all about the quality of the food or the amount you get. It isn't the cheapest option that you'll find in the Lake District but it's well worth a visit. Menu isn't expansive by any means but there is something to cater for all tastes.

A lovely hotel. Plenty of spacious main rooms. Very modern hotel but with an oldy worldy feel. Will definitely stay here again, probably in the summer. Overlooking the river - great spot. Nice and efficient staff.
