We stayed at Rainors Farm during the last week of August 2015. John & Debbie were the perfect hosts and we hugely enjoyed our week in the Yurt in the Paddock. The views through the open doors from the bed are simply stunning. It would have been very easy to have stayed in the Yurt all day or out by...

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and please accept our apologies for the delay in responding. Even after sixteen years of running the business, we treat our latest guests the same as our very first and work hard to make sure they have all they need and that everything is clean and comfortable. We are fortunate to live...

We had a great stay at Rainor’s Farm in the Paddock Yurt. A fantastic experience, one of us is not fond of camping but also enjoyed the experience. Having own facilities was a great plus point, and the Yurt itself was cosy and well set out with an extremely comfortable bed. Great location for exploring the lakes having enjoyed the...

The location is great for the western fells and the B&B is a nice farm house situated next to a working farm. The room itself was nice and the breakfast was good. The owners are what make this place special, they were wonderful to talk to and full of great advice. Thanks to John and Debbie we had an amazing trip...

I stayed at Rainors Farm with my partner and our dog, Stanley for a long weekend whilst taking part in the Wasdale X Triathlon. Despite the pain of the race this was the most relaxed and enjoyable weekends we have had in a long time. Excellent hosts and lovely rooms with wonderful views. We will certainly be going back for...

We (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed in the cottage as we like to self-cater (our friends with 3 children were in the yurt by the Paddock. ) Whichever route to approach from the rest of the UK, The Western Lakes are a good hour-and-half drive around winding roads from the M6.. but stunningly beautiful and un-touristy. Arranged an internet Tesco...

Stayed here with the girlfriend last night and felt compelled to leave a review. I called Debbie on the Friday and due to a cancellation, she was able to accommodate us for the 1 night (we appreciated that over the bank holiday and 2/3 night stay would be usual). She was very helpful and attentive throughout the booking process. When...

We stayed at Rainors Farm B @ B for two nights to visit a family member who had moved to this part of UK. The accommodation was great- very comfortable, with a really nice feel to the whole place. Great breakfasts - really good quality produce. Lovely hosts in Johnnie and Debbie - with lots of info on places to...

It has taken us a long time to get around to writing a review, but we will definitely be back to Rainors Farm B&B. The owners, John and Debbie, were incredibly friendly and hospitable, accommodating our late night arrival and earlier than normal breakfast the next day (which was delicious!). The B&B provides a great jumping off point for many...

We stayed in the cottage for new year. It was great. If you want peace and quiet this place is worth a visit. The cottage is a perfect size for 4 people. The rooms are good, beds comfy and bathroom and shower clean and powerful. I don't think the photos do the downstairs space justice. We would love to stay...
