Thanks Ali and James, we had the most amazing bank holiday weekend at Jammy Patch. We loved the stable, the dome tent, the camping, the views, the pretty lights, the flowers, the loo, the shower, the campers tearoom, the walk down the lane into Cartmel. The lovely sunshine combined with all the aforementioned made this a very special family get...

Has to be one of the most well maintained and eco-friendly camp sites with a quirky charm that we have had the pleasure to pitch at... Tents only - Equipped with two toilets (one modern and one composter for the brave!), one shower room (prettier than my own at home!) and washing facilities. Exploring, relaxing, rambling, eating, drinking and being...

I had the extreme fortune to stay at the Jammy Patch in August of this year to celebrate a friend's birthday. It's a gorgeous, quirky, homely campsite run superbly by the Ali and James. The site itself is about a mile from Cartmel, complete with its chocolate box charm and power restaurants in the shape of Rogan and Co and...

We stayed in the Beckside Stable for our anniversary. We expected a romantic hideaway and it far exceeded our expectations; the superb attention to detail was the sublime icing on the cake! Ali and James were wonderfully welcoming and their passion for sharing their home was not only evident but infectious. I would recommend Jammy Patch and the Stable to...

Stayed in a tent on campsite. Ali welcomed us as soon as we arrived and helped us decide where to pitch, told us about facilities and what else was available. Shower room is great, 2 toilets, one of which is a composting one - all clean, with funky decoration and good instructions. The site is within the garden of the...

We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed more. It wasn't busy when we were there so the one toilet and one shower was fine, but I guess if it was busy then it could feel a little overcrowded. There was a little room with fridge a freezer, tea and coffee and sofas for it the weather...

Thank you very much for this review. I just wanted to correct the information that is now public - we actually have 2 toilets here, and during busy times we open up a further toilet and shower in the house, if necessary. We never over-crowd the site, with the facilities in mind, so it is not something to be worried...

This was our first experience at camping as we wanted to go the races and spend some time exploring Cartmel so wanted to be near both the course and also the village. We found everyone really friendly and helpful and the facilities where spotlessly clean and everything we could think of was catered for. Everyone was so friendly and made...
