Lovely hotel, overseeing the amazing view of lake Derwentwater. Beautiful water fall at the back of the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our walk in the woods, perfect for the avid walkers!

There were quite a few dogs there with their owners. In fact there is a notice in the reception area saying if your dog has wet/muddy paws when you return from your walk, please ask at reception where they will supply towelling to allow you to clean up your dog before you come in.
