My friend and I stayed here for a night when doing the c2c. Gina and Stephen were fantastic hosts! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Beware of Gina's cakes - they're bloody lovely! The accommodation is clean and tidy, our room was comfy and the breakfast was great. But it's the hosts that make the difference.

Stephen and Gina who run the guesthouse could not have been more helpful and friendly - We arrived late and very wet so the warm welcome was even more pleasing. The guesthouse is a bit out of Alston and we would strongly recommend you order the evening meal (in advance) - we had a delicious Shepherds Pie and the unexpected...

The B&B is about a mile outside Alston but it is well worth the trip up the hill. The accommodation is very clean, one of the cleanest B&B's we've have stayed...

We stayed two nights at West Nattrass Guesthouse while we were visiting the Hadrian's Wall area. Gina and Stephen are very friendly and welcoming hosts. They went out of their way to help us locate some local history relating to my family, Nattrass. The B&B was one of the most comfortable and peaceful ones we stayed at during our visit...

Stephen and Gina are fantastic hosts and we felt like having visited old friends, despite a first time meeting. The room is carefully decorated and furbished with a cosy bed, the bathroom and shower quality is superb. And so is the food provided; breakfast as well as the lovely home cooked dinner! The place is located just a mile out...
