Handy for Liverpool with free parking and food outlets close by. We needed Liverpool Docks the following morning but hotels in Liverpool were all considerably more expensive. Just over the road from Widnes Travelodge is a Toby Carvery where we had a great meal and breakfast. There is also Brewers Fayre and a Tesco and other food franchises in easy walking distance. Only problem was it is a two story building and there is no lift. As we both have mobility issues we asked to be moved if possible and they did have a spare room on the ground floor. If we go up that way again we will ask for ground floor in advance.
Lovely comfortable Travelodge, helpful friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Good location close to local amenities. Room was warm and enviting, spotlessly clean, everything we needed for a lovely stay. Thank you
convenient location reception staff very helpful and friendly.had problem with toilet flushing changed room when reported.extra tea coffee given on request .clean room comfy bed some road noise but still got good nights sleep
Hotel was very clean inside and out. Bed was large and very comfy. Coffee and tea were well provided for and more available if required. Windows cut out the noise from the main road outside. Bathroom well equipped with towels and toiletries. Receptionist very approachable and friendly. Price competitive and on line booking was easy.
Give it 5 out of 5. it was dog friendly and didn’t even smell of dogs the cleanliness was brilliant. staff were very friendly. couldn’t do enough for you. stay there three days three nights fresh towels every day. always topped up my tea coffee milk and sugar. The only thing is I wish they would make my bed don’t know if you’ve got to ask though
Basic room, no other facilities at the location. "Breakfast to go" was poor value, full breakfast available over the road for similar cost. Never used this brand before, i will be unlikely using them in the future.
There was too much noise from the road outside. The hotel was built next to a very busy dual carriage-way. The noise from the road never stopped all night. You could hear the traffic noise all night, even with the windows closed. You need to have triple glazing/sound proofing installed in these rooms!!
Excellent value for money, handy for town & it's amenities, in a good location for all points North, South, East & West and easily accessed via M62/M56 and (Mersey gateway bridge toll avoiding) A557 by-pass . Free car parking a definite plus point.
Widnes Travelodge is the best Travelodge I have ever stayed at. Not the newest but definitely worth a visit as the Staff go above and beyond. The place is spick and span. Jane is capable and friendly. She made me feel right at home. Beds are comfy and spotlessly clean. Rooms and showers all work seamlessly , will be back very soon.
Bathroom was dated, Pubic hair in plug holes in shower, heard every movement from the room above. Not something I would recommend. Premier Inns are way about this standard. Location was ok for Liverpool.
