Popped in for a quick early meal with my children, I asked if I could have a child's meal like my children (it was early and all the light bites weren't light!) and they refused as it's not policy! I know they have policies but really!!! Will think again before returning as there are plenty of other eateries in he...

Very comfortable, very friendly, great food. Fantastic room and a great nights sleep. Close to banks and shops in a fantastic village. Close to motorways. Will be back again when in area. Breakfast is great with continental or full English available.

Wonderful old building with lots of dining areas. Good parking at the rear. Food was excellent - the cod on crab risotto looked great. The turkey, ham and leek pie was to die for! No rush to clear the table - how lunch with friends should be.

Beautiful old building, well renovated with comfortable bedroom. Nice to get real coffee supplied in the room as well as a lot of different tea varieties. Staff were excellent too, as was the food and good range of local beers. All at a very good price. Thoroughly recommended

The staff including Martha and Sue were simply divine! They couldn't have been more helpful. I was made to feel welcome from the moment I...

We stayed here for 1 night as we were attending an evening reception for a wedding at Peckforton Castle. The room was on the small side and the bathroom needed updating but the bed was comfy. It was very noisy on the main street that our room looked out on, mainly traffic noise. The staff were really helpful as we...

We had a lovely evening in The Swan, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. There were 18 of us celebrating a special occasion. The food was delicious and everyone got their meal together. The service was excellent. Thank you!
