This has been our local for a number of years. The refurb of the bar and restaurant areas have really made the HH. Table service is a much welcome addition. Service has been massively improved. Food is great value for money and a lot more choice of drinks. We loved it ...

Looks nice from the outside... The pub has recently been refurbished but don't know what it was like before. Didn't find any smelly toilets like other reviewers luckily. The pub was very cold but luckily we got by the log fire. The rooms really were below par tho. Torn peeling wallpaper and dusty carpets in mine, and my colleague couldn't...

The hotel has a huge car park and it's easy to locate. We had dinner in the bar, a large range of beer/ales available which was a real bonus! I had the bacon burger and my colleague had the curry, good size portion and you can swap the fries for salad, yet another bonus. The rooms are a good size...

Excellent place to stay over. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have everything you need. Excellent selection of beers, wines and spirits in the bar and the food is good at a very fair price. Friendly helpful staff also make your stay more enjoyable as do the generous check in and out times. A great breakfast with a good...

Looked forward to visiting HH after the refurb. Dropped in on Friday evening and had a good night. The place was very busy, a good atmosphere and the staff were really helpful & friendly. Can't comment on the food as we restricted ourselves to Warsteiner, which was excellent. It's going to be interesting to see how HH, Chime, Red Lion...

Drinks order taken at the table with the meal. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Food was really nice . See you all again soon.

My wife and I visited the Hartford Hall Hotel last night (8th November) during their pre-launch trial nights. It is clear that a lot of time, effort and money has gone into the refurb. When entering we were greeted by the friendly staff and asked if we wanted to have a look around prior to going to the table. The...

Had a chicken burger, can't remember the menu name for it, the burger itself was really nice and the chips as well, but the mayo and coleslaw were just the worst I have ever tasted, the coleslaw looks homemade but I am not sure, it was tastless and the mayo tasted of just nothing ! if fact it was more...

Went for Sunday lunch on 11/8/16. Was greeted warmly by Natalie Ovenden, Assistant Manager. Very oldie worldy place with nice original features. Was asked how I would like my roast beef served by Phil the chef who was very attentive. Would recommend as a perfect place to relax and enjoy the food. There was a christening function in one of...
