Stayed for one night with my husband and Jasper the pug, lovely friendly pub, comfortable room in a historic building. As it is party time the restaurant was very busy, so advisable to book your table if you require food, we reserved a table by the open fire, warm and cosy.

16th century building -so- no 'straight lines' anywhere...very different from the anodyne hotel chains. ...also very different ...every member of staff goes 'the extra mile' to make your visit pleasant. Food - and drink -in the bar/restaurant first class...and the generous breakfast....A perfect town centre hotel for the market town

Special vibe ambience, it's genuine history here not contrived. Well run professional but friendly staff, all spotlessly clean as well. Food's decent, BLT was a bit posh for me to much salad. Happy to Highly recommended.

I take my hat off to Sue and her amazing team. 30+ people descending on them for a weekend as well as a wedding to deal with - astounding. A great quirky establishment with first rate service and wonderful food. Our room was comfortable and the shower was hot. My daughter and I will most definitely be returning, as will...

Sue and her team could not have done enough for us - food was amazing, staff are brilliant - so welcoming. Will be back!! The hotel is old and the floors are uneven, all adds to the charm! Great location in a lovely little town.

We've eaten at the Crown Hotel a couple of times since it's makeover. Food is very good as is the service. The layout is great, not too crowded, cosy but atmospheric. Book in advance to make sure of getting a table!

We went here for my recent birthday. I had a lovely piece of chicken, grilled mushroom home made tomato sauce and fantastic hand cut chips. They will do French fries if you prefer them but I would recommend the hand cut chips.....divine....crispy on the outside, soft inside...hmmmm. The food tends to be served on wooden boards, which I know some...

My wife and I were in Nantwich for a music event and chose the Crown because of its central location. The hotel couldn't be more central and the staff the immediately came out to help explain the car parking arrangements. (There is free parking in designated bays in the local pay and display car park.).The hotel is an extremely quirky...

There are only for one night, but I have to say that we would return. Very particle environment since we are talking of a historic hotel. Clean rooms, nice and friendly staff, a good traditional or continental breakfast and a good pub to end the evening. To visit.
