6 of us went here for a 30th birthday spa stay & it was lovely. The treatments are amazing, the rooms are lovely, the food is gorgeous. Feel very relaxed. The drinks are pricey but it's what you expect in a place like this. We got a really good spa deal. The hotel is "oldey worldy" & is lovely. Very... More

So I booked this as a 2 night break with by best friend as we don't get to see much of each other now and Crewe is roughly half way between us. The package included dinner, B&B on both nights and 1.5hrs of treatments. On Saturday evening, the service in the restaurant was terrible. The staff were trying their best... More

I visited the spa with my mum for half a spa day. We upgraded our trip and added on a massage for an extra £28 each. The changing faculties are nice and spacious. However the pool area and hot tub and much to be desired. The pool is basic and there are glass windows surrounding it, not the best for... More

We were at Crewe Hall for a cousin's wedding. Wow! The main hall, chapel, and other large rooms are dripping with the most gorgeous Victorian decoration, wood carving and pre-Raphaelite style decoration. Absolutely stunning! The building does date back to 1635. The majority of the rooms are in a modern (80's?) annexe, which is quite a walk down long corridors,... More

A grand hotel and ex stately home in its own large and magnificent grounds. Accommodation is in a variety of rooms, some are in the depths of the old building and all well appointed. Conference facilities are excellent as are the dining and public rooms.

Beautiful old hotel with modern extension. very comfortable room in modern extension which lacks the charm of the old house. The rotating bar was very loud and conversation was being drowned out by the background music, which inevitably caused other guests to speak louder making the quiet drink impossible. Breakfast was of a good quality. Meeting facilities in the old... More

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend treat just to relax and recharge the batteries. We booked via the internet and had confirmation bed and breakfast was all included. On arrival, the receptionists initially could not confirm the booking was paid. This took a few minutes to resolve. We were given our room key which was for a room... More

A delightful afternoon with delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. Chloe and Andrew were very polite and helpful, their knowledge of the different types of teas helped us choose a particularly flavoursome darjeeling. It was also a lovely touch to receive a hand written card wishing us a happy anniversary. Be sure to take time to explore the house and garden.... More

We visited Crewe hall for an overnight spa break. This is our 3rd time at the hotel in as many years. We have always found the service on our previous visit exceptional and have never had reason to complain but unfortunately we were disheartened this year with the change in the hotel. On arrival we went for a coffee in... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A superb 17th century hotel located in Crewe in Cheshire. This Grade I listed building has been attracting refined guests since the 17th century, including our current monarch Queen Elizabeth II. Yet the contemporary edge of Crewe Hall can be found throughout the hotel from the revolving bar in the brasserie to the state-of-the-art leisure club. The hotel has 117 spacious, comfortable bedrooms, some are located in the historic old building but majority can be found in the new contemporary wing. Just minutes from the M6 motorway, Crewe Hall is only 24 miles from Chester’s sights and shops and close to Liverpool and Manchester.Crewe Hall is home to a modern conference and events centre. It is very impressive with both it's facilities and service that we offer you.
