A warm friendly reception. We had two double rooms which were very clean, tidy and presentable. The breakfast was superb, and set us up for the day. The manor had a lovely garden, with a nice sized fish pond, which was great for some family photos in the sunshine. We would definitely recommend this guest house to family and friends...

We arrived at 7pm with three very tired kids after a day at Alton towers and received such a friendly welcome by Peter. We stayed in the stables and the rooms were huge and the kids loved all the space. In the morning we had an amazing breakfast which catered for everyone. We will definitely be staying again.

When we arrived at The Manor Guest House for our overnight stay we were impressed by the lovely old building and further impressed when we saw the beautiful garden which was not only a decent size and entirely private but was very pretty, complete with a pond containing some impressive koi carp. You really could have been forgiven for thinking...

Hello Carolanne W Thank you so much for your comprehensive review, it is a pleasure coming from a Senior TA reviewer. We are so pleased you found your room and bathroom clean although your room was a little stuffy due to the warm weather. It has nothing to do with the construction other than aircon was not installed and how...

Friendly warm welcome and beautiful gardens where the children got together and played before and after their day out. The breakfast was delicious with great service. A great place to stay for visiting Alton Towers. We also visited the Monkey Forest, Dovedale & Bakewell.
