I have been staying here every week from May 2019 with the obvious breaks due to COVID, until now and most likely for the next year or so. What can I say I returned a few weeks ago after the latest lockdown and again the hotel have been exceptional continuing to provide an excellent service throughout all the COVID times. I have felt for them all so much throughout as they have continuously provided excellent COVID safe service and environment. I am always welcomed back with open arms which as I virtually live here during the working week I do really appreciate the way all the staff look after me. It is such a shame that due to restrictions they have been restricted in the number of guests in the lead up to Christmas, although they have continued to provide Christmas festivities throughout in particular a COVID safe breakfast with Santa organised by the brilliant assistant manager Hannah who worked so hard to make it safe but as normal as possible for the children. In the final week and the last night of my colleague and my stay, one of the team leaders Caitlin organised a little Christmas celebration for us which was amazing setting the festive table and making our last night memorable in this strange year of very few Christmas parties. I can’t wait until I can return to my 2nd home, after new year when restrictions start to be lifted. The hotel restaurant and bar are a credit to Gill, Hannah and the staff, and I urge everyone to support them by booking here if travelling to the area, you will not be disappointed. …

We've been several times now and love it! The staff are all amazing! Friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble. We're always made to feel welcome. Been for breakfast with santa today and loved it. It's been a strange old year but everything was done to make the experience special. Hope to be back soon!

I visited with my mum an brother tonight, food was second to none, the service was fantastic especially the manager/head waitress, so polite, well mannered and great her job, along with her team. Even though there isn’t many customers due to covid the staff were smiling from ear to ear an genuinely happy to be working. I’d recommend everyone to go here, try the food and experience the fantastic waiting staff. Can’t thank them enough for a 10/10 experience.
