Stopped on the way home from shopping. A lovely presentable pub with helpful staff. The food was well presented and was very nice albeit a little expensive for what we had. We have been here previously and there is improvement from our last visit but this was a while ago.

Polite, check in, room was ok, not exactly spotless, but served its purpose for 1 night . For £94 you would expect something a little more than the budget offering, say from premier inn, but it didn't. If you have a business meeting locally, then it's worth considering,

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at the innkeepers lodge and again it didn't disappoint. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. Both rooms have had beautiful bathrooms. Hairdryers in rooms. Part of the merlin pub where we love to have a couple of glasses of fizz. Lovely to sit outside in good weather. We paid extra for...

The bar is nice and the food good, and the staff are friendly. Our bedroom was above the kitchen and was far too noisy from the extraction fan, I asked for a fan for the room but one wasn't provided, it was so hot and didn't sleep well.

Stayed over a wet weekend in June. Located about 15 min walk from Alderley Edge, and about 15 mins drive from Jodrell Bank. The checkin was friendly, but a bit slow - pay on arrival. Room and bathroom were reasonable size and very clean. There was a kettle, decent flatscreen TV, and a small wardrobe which had room for clothes...

This is part of a chain owned by brewers Mitchell and Butler. Can't decide if it's a pub or a hotel. Concepts like adding price of meal to your room bill are met with a blank stare and refusal. Lots about the room just misses the target. It's a largish room but the double bed is 2 single mattresses made...

Great place to stay when visiting friends. Friendly staff, spacious rooms and good food. The only downfall if you are staying in a room at the rear of the property the extraction fans/generators are all there. We had to have the window open as the room was very hot. Disturbed sleep. So if staying ask for a room on the...

A great place to stay as we were meeting friends in Alderly Edge for dinner, we'd visited Chester Zoo during the day and it was only a half hour drive away. The welcome & check in were friendly and easy. The bar area was clean and atmospheric. A pleasant surprise as we weren't sure what to expect? Our family room...

Nestled between Wilmslow and picturesque Alderley Edge, this elegant lodge gives you all the charm of a country hotel only 12 miles from Manchester.Dating back to the 1880s and dripping with original features and luxurious touches, it's amongst some of the most characterful accommodation in Cheshire. Today it offers 10 comfy, modern rooms and a cosy pub and restaurant, where you can savour fresh, seasonal food in the warmth of a crackling open fire.Alderley Edge may boast the highest number of millionaires per square mile in the country, but there's much more to this pretty village than star watching. It's built upon a sandstone escarpment that overlooks the Cheshire Plain, where walkers will find many picturesque routes criss-crossing its beautiful scenery.
