Evening meal with friends. Staff friendly and efficient, especially our waitress, good choice of offerings, food arrived promptly and all of our choices were hot, plentiful and of good quality. Only negative is that it was a little noisy as there was a pub quiz, that evening, I would avoid eating there on a quiz night again or go before...

We visited the Highway Man in Dunstable, desperate for something to eat, low expectations and delivery didn't disappoint. On a positive note the staff were really efficient and friendly, it's a pity that the chef/cook/microwave operator couldn't get it right. I always say if you can't cook chips there's no hope and my friends were stone cold. I had the...

I was dreading coming here after reading all the negative reviews but this place is great for workman or people on business trips. Not families or a dirty weekend away with the wife. The room i had was fairly clean. Comfortable bed. Good shower and warm. Yes it could do with a makeover but for £125.00 for 4 nights, its...

I seriously do not class myself as a picky or fussy person, for £35 a night I don't expect the ritz, I would be perfectly happy with just a clean room that's all I ask, when arriving at the hotel upon checkin the scruffy looking lad came over to reception, I said "hello are you alright " been friendly and...

The pub is nice and ok standard. Staff are not at all helpful and unfriendly. The hotel is disgusting and not fit for purpose. I'd like to draw your attention the the pictures below with visible issues from mold and damp. Not to mention the work men scrapping paint cleaning carpets and vacuum cleaners going on from 8pm until 9.40pm...

Very clean rooms. Very warm. Everthing we needed in rooms for the one night stay. Shower,tv, tea and coffee making. Could do with a make-over. Corridors smelt very damp but rooms fine. Good breakfast. Good location for many attractions.

Do yourself a favour - invest more money and stay in the holiday inn or premier inn. This "hotel" is the most disgusting, dirty, smelly, vile place I have ever stayed. The carpets are stained, the walls are dirty, the towels are not fresh and the toilets had c*rap in them!! Dont stay here at all

It feels like the hotel rooms are just an add on to the pub, and the pub/restaurant i where all the investment is. The bar and restaurant are nice and welcome, but the rooms aren't. We had 3 rooms for our party, and every one of them was dirty and smelled musty. One room still had faeces in the toilet....
