The lodge is located directly across the street from the ruins. It couldn't be any more convenient. We were able to enter shortly after they opened. It took all morning to tour the ruins When we left, around noon, there were many buses in the parking lot and there were literally HUNDREDS of people in line waiting to get in....

We arrived from the cold midwest USA ten days after Christmas. The holiday crowds were gone, the sky was blue and temperatures warm. The site with palm trees, thatched roofs, lovely curving pools, and the sounds of birds was like a respite in paradise. The informal, fast check-in process was welcoming and set the hospitable tone for our three-night stay....

We stopped for lunch at the Lodge at Uxmal Restaurant after seeing Uxmal Mayan ruins. They had a wonderful buffet with a good variety of foods, great seating under a palapa. The metal statues, carved wooden doors of the Lodge and swimming pool and grounds make it look like a First Class Hotel. Lila from Canada

Thanks for comments on our restaurant. Come back for a few days to enjoy the many wonders that surround us, from Flamingo National Parks, mangrove sanctuaries, beautiful Mayan villages and the largest congregation of pre-hispanic monumental mayan temples in the world. Hasta la vista !

My husband and I just returned from our first real vacation together in eight years. Owning a small business is no joke. ;) We had agonized over where to go, as we wanted the trip to be very special having been so long anticipated. Being Mayan ruins buffs, the idea of Uxmal was extremely appealing to us. We were not...

Given that you're in the middle of an almost jungle at Uxmal, the Lodge is a good option. Just don't expect a boutique hotel experience. We stayed for three days and used it as a base for travel to other Puuc sites and colonial towns, and we were satisfied with our decision to do this. Both of the hotel's swimming...

Thanks for your visit. During Christmas and New Year's vacation periods families usually travel with children.... The world over. Wifi is provided by a network totally alien to the hotel... The world over, and during your stay, for a day, the system was down in a large area of the Yucatan Peninsula. We have invested tens of thousands of dollars...

The Lodge was an oasis of peaceful bliss. I count myself lucky to have have met with Concierge, Mr. Luis Chan Herrera, who truly made my stay very memorable.; affable and truly dedicated to his profession, he went above and beyond to make sure my two day stay was carefree. You see, I had only been in Mexico two days...

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Lodge at Uxmal on our way to Merida. The location could not be better as we wanted to tour the Mayan ruins which is adjacent to the Hotel's property. We used one of the Hotel's guides who was very knowledgeable and pleasant and conducted an absolutely super tour. We had several...

There aren't many options for a nice meal in this part of the Yucatan, and in a location right outside the entrance to Uxmal I wasn't expecting much. But what a nice surprise! You could choose to eat under the hugh open air palapa, but we chose to sit outside under an umbrella to enjoy the beautiful day. The restaurant...

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Not only are you close to the beautiful ruins of Uxmal, the hotel and its staff are wonderful. It was my favourite of the places we stayed in Yucatan. The rooms are a little dark, but to be honest you spend such little time there it doesn't matter. I would like to single out...

We had not planned on staying here. We had started early from Merida to do the Rut-a-puc and our intention was to either stay at Santa Elena, Merida or Izamal depending on how much we could cover.
