We had a wonderful one night stay at Maya Luna and are already making plans to return. The setting is beautiful and far enough south and removed from the Cruise traffic in Mahahual. The bungalows are spacious and right on the beach. Each has a rooftop patio with table and chairs for star gazing or watching the sunrise. Loungers, palapa... More

My husband and I went to Mahahual last year to explore retiring in Mahahual. We stayed at the Hotel Maya Luna. We had one of the best vacation ever, ranking in our top 3. ( WE take 2 vacations a year.) So it was only natural we would stay again at the Hotel Maya Luna when we returned to buy... More

My wife and I stayed here while we were on a Royal Caribbean Cruise that stopped in Costa Maya. The host was very accomodating even though we had no reservation. We were able to relax on the beach, enjoy some cold drinks, and use the sea kyaks for some exploring. We were only charged about 10 bucks for everything, which... More

This place is perfect to relax after a strenous yucatan round trip. With the bungalow, its roof-top , terrace, and own beech part this place provides privacy that makes the stay most relaxing. Together with the very good breakfast and restaurant, and the nice reception, you really feel being at home. Its outside the village but still close enough for... More

We were looking for a weekend spot to have a relaxing time with our dogs, we found this place and we had an amazing time there, Caroline was so nice, she is very help full and kind. We were looking extensively for a place on the beach with good snorkeling opportunities and a relaxing atmosphere. Maya Luna was all that and much more. It would be more accurate to say that the rooms (all 4 of them) are in the beach rather near it. Private cabins with rooftop patios giving a view of the multi colored waters... More

Okay, if you are looking for that cookie-cutter, all-in-one, never leave the sparkly resort, Caribbean destination vacation that you keep seeing advertised in your FaceBook newsfeed, then keep on looking. If you are looking for an intimate, relaxing, off-the-grid, experience with a high level of care and attention from the inn keeper and staff, and proximity to some amazing natural... More

We rented golf carts and went on the road much less traveled and stumbled on this terrific little place. I only wish we were overnight guests because it looked so peaceful and comfy. We stayed for lunch and a bit of beach time. The owners were quite happy to serve us even though we weren't hotel guests. And yes -... More

This was our third (and longest) trip to Hotel Maya Luna. After a 5.5 year absence, we chose this place for our honeymoon based on our prior experience.
