MBG is a small oasis that dots a spectacular part of the southern Costa Maya. The individual rooms are all different, each with its own personanlity. No TV, always a plus. Free wi-fi. Rooms are solar powered, so ceiling fans may stop before dawn. No AC, but this has never been an issue. Never noisy. Guests seem to generally be...

This was my first visit here and it will not be my last. Small, super comfortable just the way things should be when you want to relax and enjoy life to the fullest. Rooms are just steps from the beach, no crowds, and the food was delicious. Marcia and Kim are wonderful hosts and shared their paradise with us. We...

Somewhere in the jungle...no mobile phone coverage... Long drive to next City...You are completely in the Hands of Marcia & Kim. You need a car to get there.... The sea grass problem was very obvious --> Sounds all somehow negative? But it is definetly worth each second being there. Despite the seagrass problem we had a very nice stay there....

Thank you Marcia and Kim for another wonderful vacation at the Mayan Beach Gardens. As usual, every time we come to stay at the Gardens we have the experience of a life time. To let everyone know... the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable, the staff is great, and the food is five star (be sure to get...

I would recommend this place to anyone wanting something different then the crowds of Cancun, Playa or even Tulum. We have been traveling to different areas of Mexico for many years and have never found this type of environment before. We came with no reservations, stopped in for lunch and ended up staying for 11 days. The rooms were all...

This was our 4th stay at MBG in 5 years. We usually like to try new places for vacation, but My husband, 2 daughters, and I love it so much, we keep coming back. This is the kind of place you want to keep quiet and reserve for yourself. Marcia and Kim are wonderful hosts. Mayan Beach Gardens is a...

We have been to Costa Maya several times before. The first time was many years ago at the neighbor hotel "El Placer Inn" (not open anymore). Back then we went over to Marcia and Kim at Mayan Beach Garden a few times for the great food. When the gas station in Mahahual was out of fuel Kim helped us with...

We had a brilliant time at MBG in January. Kim and Marcia were generous and knowledgeable hosts and all the staff were very helpful. MBG is still remote and close to nature, facilities are good (but it is off the grid) and standards are high.

Loved our stay here. So nice to have someone as helpful and friendly as Marcia (owner) to provide local information and help you feel most comfortable. Quiet location with lots of day trip options nearby (with a car) like going to Sian Ka'an, Mahahual, boat trips, Bacalar. Stellar buildings with tasteful features and beautiful mosaics done by owners. HOT SHOWERS!!...

As an owner, I can guess who most of the reviewers are and its hard not to put something personal into my responses. But I do have to say that we loved having you here and appreciate that you took the time to write a review. I especially am grateful you appreciated the hot showers, because I'm someone who loves...

I loved this review, not only because it covers what we are about. Thank you so much for taking the time to be so descriptive. And also for helping pickup the plastic that floats onto our beaches from the sea. You are such good guests, it was a pleasure to welcome you here and we hope you return again some...
