The resort is beautiful! Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and couldn't have asked for more. The staff were always smiling and the entertainment team were fantastic! After reading some reviews we naturally had doubts but upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised and remained this way for the two weeks following! Pools - constantly cleaned / always sunbeds available / staff always...

Had a lovely time at the Grand Sirenis - no issues with time share hassle as mentioned by others nor any issues over different tier levels. Overall a great hotel but it really isn't 5 star ... not even vs other Mexico hotels let alone world wide. It just looks tired in parts and some things didn't work. Toilet would...

This is our 3rd trip to the GS and we stayed on the Riviera side in Bldg 18/19. There were 15 in our party. The main reason we love the Sirenis is due to the staff who are all incredible. There are a few staff members that made our trip stand out: Jesus A at the lobby buffet: Jesus was...

Our first trip to Mexico. Really nice hotel. Our room in the 1700's block was a bit tired looking. The glass doors to the ground floor balcony would not lock on our arrival. However a maintenance man arrived very quickly and repaired it. Could have done with a few other things doing - the plug in the whirlpool bath was...

Let me start with the THE GOOD: The staff were great, the entertainment staff are a lot of fun and the al la carts are ok. THE BAD: The rooms are musty smelling, the decor is still from 1964 (the year the resort opened - yuck), I think the sheets are still the originals from 1964, the beach was rocky,...

We have just returned from a two week holiday stopping at the Grand Sirenis and whilst the hotel is very good I would definitely say it could be better. The flight and airport transfer both by Thomas Cook where ok but most certainly not to the standard of British Airway/Virgin but for the price you pay are more than acceptable....

First things the resort is massive there are two sides the Mayan Riviera side and the Mayan Beach side; each have their own big pools with bars but are pretty far from each other. We stayed on the Mayan Beach side and it was gorgeous, The resort is big however they had...
