My boyfriend and I spent a night in the hotel of Las Villas Akumal on our way to Tulum. The hotel was beautiful and the pool, beach area and grounds were very well manicured. We stayed in a room on the lower level which felt a bit dingy (maybe bc there were more mosquitos down there than on ground level)...

We had an excellent, relaxing stay in this clean, spacious, modern villa. The beach is literally metres away and you have a lovely balcony area with swings so you can relax and look out to the amazing view. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and immensely helpful. If you are staying in Akumal I highly recommend this place. I chose...

Our first experince of Mexico was these villas. From the moment we walked in it was heaven. Beautiful views, large bedrooms and open plan living area and a balcony with seat swings which I never left! The beach was lovely although the coral made it impossible to swim. A short walk away from los arcos which is lovely to eat,...

I stayed in unit 204 (upper unit right over the pool) for the second time. The last time was 4 years ago. I went with girlfriends again and we had plenty of room in the this two-bedroom unit (one room has a king bed and the other has two doubles). The open kitchen/dining/living room was wonderful for meals and gatherings,...

Las Villas Akumal is a quiet little hotel/condo complex on the beach in Akumal. We stayed in a 1 bedroom "basement" condo that was comfortable. The room was clean and service was very good. We utilized the kitchen for dinner 1 night, and the staff cleaned up all of the dishes we left. The complex has 2 pools, beachfront. There...

Nice place to sleep. Quiet and direct at the beach. Very nice decoration, clean and the room has everything you need. We stayed at the junior room with garden view which actually is street view. The rooms looking at the pool and sea look great. What I didn't like, but I guess that is the whole point of going to...

An amazing combination of privacy, mexican ambiance, super spacious accommodations, amazingly kind and gracious hosts and still only a short walk to one of Mexico's special small beachfront town, Akumal. I have been coming to the Yucatan since 1963 and to Akumal for nearly 25 years and each year I continue to fall in love with this part of the...

If you have a family and want to have a relaxing vacation, then this is the place for you. I have spent so many vacations in the past where I brought kids and then had to deal with going out to eat for every meal. Not a lot of fun. At the Villas there are kitchens to make easy breakfast...

Stayed for 2 nights to attend a Wedding. Beautiful spot right on the beach. The villas are well kept, spacious with living area, kitchen and large fridge. We had breakfast incl which was ok but not too special. You could order eggs for an additional cost. There is a small Pool and pool bar. Staff is very friendly. You can...
