Our room was the cleanest motel room we have ever stayed in! No dust, no lint, spotless linens, immaculate bathroom including the drains! The staff was helpful and friendly; food at the restaurant fresh and tasty. Good location if you want to visit Real de Catorce for a day. Walmart just down the street was clean and organized, too.

I've stayed at Las Palmas Midway Inn on numerous occasions and without exception find my stays restful, enjoyable, and comfortable. As a woman traveling alone, safety is a primary concern. The good people at Las Palmas provide the confidence I seek, especially when my car is loaded up. Never have to give security a thought. I've walked the bike trail,...

We stayed at Las Palmas as it was at the midway point of our move to Ajijic, Jalisco. It reminds me of a 1950s US motel: dated furniture and decorations, but very comfortable and with an accommodating staff. Don't expect luxury here: it is a convenient, safe, inexpensive, clean place to stay for a night while traveling. The restaurant was...

We stayed here in November 2016 right after Thanksgiving. It was an easy days drive from the Laredo, TX border crossing, and they allowed our two small dogs with no extra fees. The place was very quiet, and pretty well kept up as far as grounds and rooms. The restaurant was very accommodating as well, allowing us to sit outside...

Very good stop when travelling by RV. They offer three services and it is secure. Bathrooms are very clean. You hook up and leave the next day. Only to be used as a pit stop, it is a parking lot but close to a lot of stores. Reception staff was very friendly. Will use this spot again.

The hotel is about 80 years old and has been remodeled about 20 years ago. Everything is fairly old but clean. The price was not that reasonable for an old place. I remember when we would stop there over 50 years ago when I was a child with my parents.

Small, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice grounds. Very quiet Good restaurant. Above average for a Mexican motel, but I didn't enjoy the stay and will avoid if I can. If you can't drive the 12 hours it takes from central Mexico to the US border, this is an acceptable, if not great choice.

We stay here because we travel with our small dog. Lesson learned this time! Be sure to notify them that you are traveling with a dog. The reservation clerk was very upset with us when we asked for a pet friendly room with good wifi. They don't exist! After speaking with the manager we were given the room we've always...

Not much choice but to stay here for the sheer fact they accept pets. Pet friendly friendly hotels are rare in MX. We have stayed here twice before and put up with the fact that the rooms are far from perfect. This September mind you, disgusted me and will likely be our last visit. We will somehow have to find...

Stayed here one night room was very clean large for two adults. Restaurant on site with excellent food. Front desk very helpful with telling me where to buy a new tire for car. Walmart is across street which is handy. You are able to park car right next to room which was great. Very nice place to stay in Matehuala!!
