I stayed at the hotel with an orchestra group and when we arrived the service attendant was very nice. he showed us the place. we put our luggage at the place we would stay and also the rooms always were cleaned there was a person who cleaned the rooms dayly. I really liked the staying here
We went to a posada nearby the weekend before christmas. the hotel is really big. It shows it´s age, but at the same time it has ample and clean spaces. The rooms are huge, more like an appartament or a big loft, with a living room, kitchen, dinner table, private terrace and two full bathrooms. everything shows it´s age, and looks as if it has not been renovated for decades, but again, we slept sooo well, the sheets were clean, amenities in order. Nice experience. The included breakfast was a full hot buffet, so you get plenty of food for starting the day. The hotel has conference rooms and other facilities that this time we did not get a chance to enjoy or try, since our purpose was mainly for sleeping, but it seems like a great place for families. People were very helpful, specially at the restaurant, where the waiter service was superb.…
Location was good. Had originally booked a 3 bedroom suite but had to change rooms because property is not very wheelchair accessible however staff was very accommodating. Very rustic feel may need a bit of updating soon but otherwise a good place to stay. Very clean which to me is very important.

We went with a large group and had three apartments. A bat entered one of the apartments necessitating a series of rabies shots for two members of our group. It took us three days to locate the rabies vaccine in Guadalajara. It made us realize this was very far off the beaten track and had we had a real medical emergency, I don’t know what we would have done. The night before we left, a bat appeared in another of our apartments. Bats are a problem at this hotel because apparently there is a problem with the way the chimneys are constructed (at least this is what we were told by an employee). On a positive note, the apartments are very large and spacious and the staff did their best to help us.…
