We had a marvelous stay at Villa Eucalyptus, just a week, though. Due to a full house, our first two days were at a nearby B&B. Ralph picked us up, luggage and all, and brought us into the amazing Villa, which was a perfect location, for relaxing, and close enough for getting around by walking the charming streets of Ajijic....

I've been to B&Bs all over the States, Mexico, and Costa Rica, but my recent week at Ralph's was hands down the best experience ever. To me the most important aspect of the B&B experience is the sense of the proprietor's genuine liking and interest in their guests, and in what they do. At Villa Eucaliptos, Ralph definitely conveys this!...

Ralph Moniz runs a quiet, comfortable, very clean B & B in the town of Ajijic. The large room beside the pool had a good bed and Ralph's breakfasts are terrific - lots of fresh fruit along with pancakes, snags and huevos. He took us into the market in Chapala one morning and out for dinner one evening. He's very...

I'm sitting on the patio by the pool as I write this at Villa Eucaliptus in Ajijic. Not only is the weather perfect, but my accomodations are heavenly. The grounds are beautiful w/lush gardens and lots of sitting areas to lounge about. The wi-fi connection is great, in and out of your room. Ralph and Felipe are such gracious hosts,...

We stayed at Villa Eucaliptos about 8 or 9 years ago. It was our first trip to Mexico's Central Highlands and well, we fell in love and now we're hooked!! Since, we've stayed at other B & B's and vacation rentals but nothing compares to the hospitality and excellent service we received at Villa E. Ralph takes care of you...

We were only here for two nights, but wish it were much longer. We had the room next to the dining area and thought it was a great room for us - no stairs except one or two. The room was lovely. It had a walk-in shower which for us is a plus as my husband is slightly handicapped and...

We were welcomed by Ralph the owner/operator of Villa Eucaliptos and shown to our room. The room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The atmosphere was light hearted and the company was ecclectic making the breakfast discussion fun and interesting. Ralph makes fresh muffins daily and they are never the same. The aroma and flavor is something worth traveling for. The...

I've stayed in many, many B&B's, even others in Ajijic, Mexico, but nothing to match the quality of friendship, helpfulness, incredible breakfasts, delightful accommodations and the sincerity of going-the-extra mile that I received from the staff at Villa Eucaliptos. Ralph is an absolute gem and Felipe was always willing to do anything to make my stay more enjoyable. Ralph helped...

Can't say enough about how great my stay was with Ralph. I had been to Ajijic several times before but never stayed in a B&B. I was there for dental work and Ralph was fabulous-drove me when it was raining, checked on me frequently after an arduous surgery, made me special blended food. He is full of stories and info...

I had a friend in Ajijic, so on my second trip with my husband, we stayed here. All of the comments about Ralph's breakfast are spot-on. He's the greatest host and very helpful. I felt like we arrived as guests and left as friends. We are planning to return this next December to spend the holidays there. I wouldn't stay...

“I checked out all the rooms except one. They are all nicely appointed. Being in awe of all the birds and butterflies in Ajijic I asked to change rooms part-way through my stay so I could see the street outside as opposed to the inner gardens. This would give me a longer view of the birds all the way to the lake. Ralph graciously accommodated me. In both rooms I slept with the door open and had just the screen shut - waking up with the songbirds and sunrise each morning. It was lovely.”
