I was extremely disappointed. The owner's dogs pee and poop everywhere, including in the filthy outdoor kitchen (appropriately painted an ugly brown), and pick fights with guests' dogs. They attacked my poodle right in front of the owner, who did nothing. The rooms are all identical, and during my stay thefts from the rooms were an issue. Think overpriced "Motel...

My husband and I were in Ajijic for a week in March for dental work (many good dentists in the area). We found Angel Flores through AirBnB (somehow I must have missed it when checking tripadvisor). It's a great place to stay! The rooms are basic and very clean. The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking, but...

First of all, Skip, the host, is most gracious and always willing to share tips, and information with his guests. He has 8 rooms available for rent at a reasonable rate. The garden is beautiful, spacious, and well designed. He has decorated his entire lay out with very interesting arts, crafts, and statues. Also their is an open air kitchen,...

I spent 10 days, from New Year's Day 2014 at Skip's Casa Angel Flores. In addition to a nice, clean, and very reasonably priced room, the bonus was the hosts; Skip, Felipe, and the three dogs who couldn't be more welcoming. Of course daily chats with Senior Augustine, the Gardner, was a great way for me to try and learn...

I went to Ajijic to confirm if this is where I will move to from Canada, as a permanent resident. Stayed two weekends with friends and one week by myself at the Angel Flores Guest House to see how I would manage on my own. Great choice for many reasons, starting with on-site owner “Skip” who’s an excellent informed source...

The place is very nice although very hard to find. It has secure parking and the indoors have a very nice garden. The place is pet and guest friendly. Do not expect luxury but a quiet, comfortable accommodation. The streets around are safe and picturesque and, within walking distance, there are nice and inexpensive Restaurants (Tango, one of them!) It...

We ended up at the Angel Flores Guest House when the place we had planned to stay had a mix-up and shifted us there. A great find! As others have mentioned, Skip was friendly and helpful. The hotel has several small buildings put together in a lovely compound complete with gardening and rooftops from which you can see the very...

This is UNIQUE...Now this is a gem that is highly under rated! We feel privileged to have found both the owner Skip and his oasis!
