We spent 3 nights there with a flexible schedule to visit Quebec. Somehow it was too expensive staying in Quebec City and we had a car to drive around. Worth it. There are a couple of buildings.. lodges... the one we stayed was a bit...More

Tucked into the woods just steps from the Auberge, this Spa is very charming. I had a wonderful 90 minute therapeutic massage at the Spa. Lovely facility, outdoor baths and whirlpools. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the relaxing time. A number is “theme rooms” to choose from...More

Thank you very much for your feedback!
We have indeed a great Spa that is a little ''hidden treasure''. It is especially beautiful during the fall season with the colors we have at Duchesnay.
We are looking forward to welcome you back!
Station Touristique Duchesnay, Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier, Quebec was our choice of the end-of-the-year vacation. Located on the shore of the St. Joseph lake in bucolic village of Fossambault-sur-la-Lac it greeted us with beauty and tranquility of a winter paradise. Covered in fluffy blanket of pristine white snow,...More

I would say, no. There was a bit of a village not too far away. We didn't go there, but stayed on site, no need to leave. If you mean Quebec City, I think it's about maybe 1/2 -3/4 hour away? You can google that.
