There is a problem here. I won't go back. No wifi in the rooms!? The attitude of the night deskman was summed up when he said to me, at 10:30, officiously, "You can check out!" Just another sign of terrible management. The room was old-fashioned, even down to the noisy plumbing.Several other less expensive places in the area.Fix the attitude, and...

We stay here twice each summer and have done so for many years because it is halfway to our summer chalet. The location is beautiful, but the rooms are just adequate. Everything is clean and the bed was comfy this year, but overall the room is a bit tired and spare. There is no AC, so if it is hot,...

We love this place! We always take a unit close to the water. There seems to be a mix of older and newer units, but we take one of the old units for it's location. The rooms are basic, but clean with a gorgeous view of the water. There is a pool and an excellent restaurant. Lovely grounds with lots...

This hotel looks lovely on their website and has a stunning location on the side of the St Lawrence, but is in dire need of an overhaul. It looks very quaint and the view lovely, but when you go in the hotel room, you are in for a nasty shock. First of all, there is no air conditioning. Thank fully...

Stayed in the riverside motel units, dated and in need of a renovation badly. However, the view and the fresh breeze makes up for what they lack. Do not bother with combo meal packages better and more reasonable dining options in town

Once again this year my husband and I stopped here on our way to Nova Scotia from Ontario. This hotel is right on the St. Lawrence river and the views are spectacular. The hotel is pet friendly as we travel with our Newfoundland dog. They have a restaurant that serves breakfast and delicious dinners.

We stayed in one of the motel units ($214+tx, including 4 course dinner and breakfast for 2; $114+tx, no meals). The room was very large with floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows, which gave a wonderful view of the St. Lawrence River. The room was dated but had a very comfortable and firm king bed, small sofa, arm chair, straight-backed chair, and...

This is a place to loose track of time and completely relax. The scenery is out of this world and the restaurant is excellent. There are many lawn chairs spread out over the lawn. Also, there is a place to walk to the waters edge.

I don't need a fancy place to rest my head when travelling I just need a clean room, a shower and a comfy bed. The view is amazing. But I only got an hour of the view before the sun went down. This place is old, it smells and doesn't feel clean. There is no clock in the room. There...

At least once a year we stay over on our way down or back to New Brunswick at the Auberge du Faubourg - and there are about 50 reasons why, of which I only have space for talking about why I think this is such a jewel, sitting on the southside of the St. Lawrence River about 60 or so...
