This B and B is in an ancestral cattle farm in the picturesque Gaspe Peninsular in Quebec. Therefore it may not be for you if you don't like the smell of manure or almost non existent water pressure in the showers but you can pet a cow or horse. The bed we had was also lumpy and sloped downward towards...

Friendly welcome, rooms American style, do not dine. Food and wine for 25 can$: wine from a cardboard container opened at some unknown date. Food miserable. Better eat your own sandwich. But again service very friendly. Unfortunately there is no competition in the area late in the season. Overall: too much money spent.

Anne and Gordon could not do enough for us! Our room was very comfortable with its "almost" en suite bathroom. The couple with whom we were traveling were in the spacious, quirky loft room, and loved it. Breakfast was amazing, and different on each of our three mornings. Anne even gave us sandwiches for the road on our last morning!...

Thank you so much Anne and Gordon, our friendly innkeepers, for a wonderful stay in your cozy home on the working farm. We loved the impeccably clean "Rainbow Room" with our private bathroom. Anne's breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Anne also offers 4-course suppers including wine for $20./pp. We invited my friend's daughter, who lives in Paspebiac, to come and...

A relaxing and friendly stay. The loft bedroom had plenty of space for us and our five-year-old, and the whole B&B was child-friendly. The spectacular breakfast included some special requests from our daughter. Anne even gave us some muffins to take along with us for lunch. This was a convenient "home base" to nearby places we wanted visit (New Carlisle,...

We got a room at the Macdale B&B for three nights as a gift. It was a wonderful gift! Anne and Gordon are very sweet and take great care of their guests. The food was great, each breakfast was unique and our tea and coffee was always ready and waiting for us. I would love to go back one day....

I was in New Carlisle on business and I am so glad that I stayed with the MacDale's. Anne and her husband were very accommodating. I arrived early in the morning to drop my things off. The room was large, and clean. The house and the people in it were. quiet, and comfortable, and friendly. At supper time I had...

This is by far the best place we stayed as a family. Dinner was excellent! Lots of food and wine. Room was perfect for the 4 of us (2 adults - 2 kids, 8yo and 4yo). Tv was small but the kids did not notice. It had shaw direct. Breakfest was wonderful, fresh baked muffin, bagel "mcdale" (egg, ham, cheese)...

We truly appreciated our stay at Macdale B&B, we stayed there one night at the end of our trip but we wished we had stayed more. Ann and Gordon made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the relaxing and homey atmosphere. The house is conveniently located near Bonaventure, not too far from Perce and there are a lot of...
