Janet and Richard's devotion to their historic home is obvious upon arrival to their expansive, well-cared for yard, complete with a huge flower framed garden. The nearby mossy Knox Dam and gurgling creek will assuredly calm any stress you may have. Inside, our upper level room - one of three, all with en suites - was tastefully decorated in appropriate...

Janet and Richard were wonderful hosts to our first night on PEI. The house is charming, and they served an excellent breakfast. There was a very popular ceilidh in town, but we arrived too late to get a seat. Consequently, we went back to the B&B and ended up visiting with our hosts over tea. We learned more about Montague,...

My daughter and I only had one night here but wish we had more time to enjoy the amenities of this wonderful home. Janet and Richard were so friendly and welcoming, their home was really cozy, and the grounds were beautiful. They also have the dam right there which not many can offer. We had wanted separate beds so booked...

Knox's Dam and its lovely owners Janet and Richard, remain one of our fondest memories of our time in the Maritimes, Canada. The couple's natural warmth and ease with us as guests in their most beautiful home was just amazing. We would return in a heart beat to this magical spot on the planet and to spend time with this...

This was a fantastic stay. Janet and Roger were wonderful hosts; Roger being VERY knowledgable about many aspects of PEI history, and the room was gorgeous. We were there for two nights, and god a free upgrade for both nights. The bath was very well thought out. I can't say enough about the breakfasts. They were stunning and delicious. TIP:...

This B & B was a delightful find. The owners take a great deal of pride in maintaining the yard and house in imaculate condition. We stayed in the Taupe room which was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Richard took the time to give us a tour of the grounds and provide us with some history...

This was such a delightful place with a beautiful setting. Richard and Janet were wonderful hosts. We were there for two nights, and Janet gave us an upgrade for the second night. Both rooms were lovely. We were on bicycles, and their home is very convenient to Montague. Janet drove us into town and back one evening for dinner. We...

Janet and Richard were exceedingly hospitable hosts who boast a luxurious yet cozy homestay along the scenic "Points East" coastal drive in the sublime village of Montague. Janet catered to our every vegan whim, and Richard brewed up pots of deliciously strong coffee every morning. One published review terms Knox's Dam "The Best B&B on Prince Edward Island"; we fear...
