If we need to return to Vaughan Mills this will be our hotel of choice every time, it's like staying in a mini resort. The pool is warm and inviting with an outdoor court accessible from the pool area it's a very fun place to hang out. Breakfast is delicious! Made fresh to order for you every morning with lots of fantastic choices. The nice man at the front desk in the morning was amazing and the friendliest I've ever encountered *stay March 9-11* Kasey was fabulous with his friendly smile and great attitude he made my 2 yr olds visit to a hotel a wonderful memory as well by engaging with her while he fixed our safe. Every time you need something they help quickly and with care. Oh and it's conveniently located near more than enough shopping options and if you face the back you can see the CN tower on a clear day and quickly access transit right in front of the door. Perfect spot ! My only recommendation is better toilet paper ;-)

I recently attended a group event at Aloft Vaughan Mills and was very pleased with the experience overall. Staff was very welcoming and courteous. I was greeted with a smile by every staff member I encountered and they were very helpful if one of our group required anything. Comfortable, classy feel as soon as you enter the front lobby. I didn't book a room, but I look forward to doing so in the near future!

Travelled with my wife and two small children. We had no hot water for three days. I would understand if we were travelling to a Third World country , I’d totally expect it ! But we were staying in the Toronto area. They were doing renovations on floor three which might’ve had something to do with it. Some of the staff were accommodating , others not so much . It’s really too bad ! The breakfast wasn’t that good. We stay in a lot of different hotels in North America and this was at the bottom on the breakfast chart. If you’re paying for food the kitchen does have good stuff. There was no compensation given , you could tell a few of the staff members were scripted to giving nothing back as there were many other families/people staying there complaining of the same thing (no hot water) I’m not a negative/complaining kind of guy but people need to know this ! I’m trying to think of something positive ,I’m gonna say the hotel was relatively clean. Cheers

Dear brodieh846, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I know how frustrating cold water can be when all you want is a nice hot shower. Unfortunately, sometimes First World countries have water issues as well from time to time however, we are lucky that it doesn't happen often. In this circumstance, we were not able to determine at first which rooms were having the issue but it is understood that a number of people across the hotel experienced cold water. We had a plumbing issue earlier in the week which was confirmed as fixed, but then we found out during your stay that it was not fixed correctly by the plumber resulting in a handful of rooms receiving cold water at different times of the day. We were able to get an engineer in to consult and we can now confirm that this issue has been addressed and fixed. I do however wish to apologise for the water challenges you and your team experienced during your stay and I was happy to see that my team did provide you with compensation for the inconvenience even though you stated that you did not receive compensation. As many of the rooms still had hot water, compensation was given on a case by case basis. As a team, you received the contracted group breakfast. We do offer La Carte from our Re:Fuel at an additional cost which can be purchased in the lobby. Thank you again,

Dear 604chadd, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. First of all, I would like to apologise for the water challenges your team experienced, I know how frustrating it can be. We had a plumbing issue earlier in the week which was confirmed as fixed, but then we found out that it was not fixed correctly by the plumber resulting in a handful of rooms receiving cold water at different times of the day. We were able to get an engineer in to consult and we can now confirm that this issue has been addressed and fixed. I was able to confirmed you were compensated during your stay and was also not charged for the late cancellation for the additional room booked which you did not end up needing. The group breakfast finished at 9am which was the agreed time in your group contract. This timing is confirmed at check-in. The bar was closed early as a result of how our bartender was treated by your group. As explained already, drinking personal/unlicensed alcohol in our licensed bar is forbidden in accordance with our liquor license and against the law. We are currently refreshing our floors with new wallpaper, carpet, blinds and upgraded 55" TV's. All construction takes place between the hours of 9am and 6pm daily to reduce the impact to our guests. Thank you
