New operators Corrine Fairbanks and Chef Ron Subden were wonderful! Chef if you get bored here-my kitchen is yours! We were a group of 7 ladies, with different tea tastes and all were met. I cannot find fault in any aspect of our visit, the scones and cream were just wonderful, homemade tarts, cookies, perfect little sandwiches, it was just...

I don't usually write reviews but I can't say enough about the service I received at Summerhill. The owners went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed, lending me a bicycle, adjusting the breakfast hours to accomodate me, appearing with antihistamines when I became stuffed up, and even getting out of bed to bring me delicious...

My boyfriend and I were in Port Hope and came across Summerhill in our search for a weekend getaway. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. Most importantly, they were very kind to our little puppy, Murphy, who probably had the best time of the three of us. Maggie was a wonderful host and the breakfast was delicious. It's...

We had a lovely overnight stay in Port Hope at the Summerhill Bed & Breakfast. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the picturesque town of Port Hope. We were travelling with our newborn and my in-laws. Our host, Deb, immediately made us feel welcome and at home with her arrival tea. She was very accommodating and warm....

Had the pleasure of visiting this little gem twice last.Once for their English breakfast, and then on the weekend for the "High Tea" Both visits were a delight. The ambiance of the heritage home oozes through to the decor and menu offered. Food was delicious, scones with Devon Clotted Cream and Jam, to die for. Will be visiting again.

We stayed here en route to Prince Edward County as we couldn't get accommodation anywhere nearer there on a Saturday night! Deborah was fab and made our stay very easy - especially as our flight was delayed. Mix up with the keys so we couldn't actually lock our room but the place was very safe. Our room and bed were...

I stayed there over the Labour Day long weekend with my mom and sister. We absolutely loved Deb and she made us feel like part of her family. Part of the charm of the place is that her Irish Wolfhound, Maggie, is always around and just a call away from coming out to say hi (although she needs to be...

A pleasureful experience!! Deborah makes you feel so welcome in her home and her food is all homeade and straight from the heart! My friend and I enjoyed a beautiful delectable lunch on the cozy patio with a large pot of tea.
