My boyfriend and I stayed at Lumina this past weekend for 4 nights. Overall, the resort was awesome and met all of our needs. From the moment we stepped into the resort, fellow guests were extremely friendly and showing us the ropes. 90% of the people staying here are repeat guests that book their stay a year in advance, every...

Just completed our 6th year there and consider it a home away from home. Lumina is the kind of place where you can be as private as you like or as social as you want. My wife enjoys the solitude of sunning and reading on top of the boat house, where as I enjoy the constant activities and the other...

Just got back from a week at Lumina and all of the family (Kids, teens, & adults) agreed that it was an awesome vacation. The food was fantastic! In my opinion, the steak dinner bbq was the best meal;) They advertise that their guests will never go away hungry and that was completely true! There were tons of activities for...

We have been vacationing at Lumina Resort for the past 16 years. When we started, our kids were 8 and 10 years of age. We have always enjoyed our time at Lumina. The individual cabins give you privacy and are cleaned and made up each day. When our family was larger, we got a three bedroom cabin with a living...

I spent four days at Lumina in early July with my family, including a 2 year old. We had an amazing time. The lake is perfect. The recreational opportunities are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. Many of these attributes exist in multiple hotels and resorts in the area, however Lumina provides visitors with something more elusive: Authenticity. Where...

We spent a weekend at Lumina Resort and were very pleased with everything. All the staff was very friendly, meals were fantastic and the accommodations were typical of a rustic little cottage on the lake, a little dated and simple but exceptionally clean and well maintained. I would say their standards of cleanliness are far superior to any cottage resort...

Summer is coming, and that means Lumina is coming! I've been attending Lumina Resort for nearly 20 years now. I'm a young adult, and all year long I crave this vacation! The food is fantastic, and the cook is a very personable guy! He's not a face that stays in the kitchen and remains a mystery. The waitresses have to...

We just had another amazing family weekend at Lumina Resort. We have been taking our three daughters to this resort since they were two years old. It is truly a special place. As young adults they really appreciated the trip one more time before work and university takes them on a new path. The food here is an amazing dining experience...

Every once in a while a perfect wedding happens, and our daughter's was it! Eliana and Trevor desired a weekend getaway wedding to enjoy the company of all their guests for more than one day. They gave us two 1/2 months from when they got engaged to plan this! After much research they found the Lumina Resort, who had one...

My wife and I couldn't be happier with our wedding held at lumina resort. The surroundings are beautiful, the rooms/cabins are unique and clean, the staff is hardworking, friendly, and accommodating, food was excellent and most importantly the guests were happy. The relaxed atmosphere of the resort was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. As guests arrived at the...
