I've stayed at the Iona Heights Inn several times with friends. The view is absolutely breathtaking and the rooms are lovely; you feel like you're in your own nautical-themed cottage. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely stop in the pub for the music and food!

Wonderful little motel right next to the Scottish living village ( a must see). Rooms are clean and quiet. The view from the room is beautiful. To our delight they have a pub restaurant attached to the motel with a large fireplace, nice selection of beer, good food and live celtic music on Saturday nights. The music was fantastic and... My friend and I spent 1 night at Iona Heights Inn. The setting is lovely, overlooking the water set high on the hill. Pros: Friendly staff Clean room, and comfy beds In-room coffee maker Restaurant open fairly late, with tasty food, and not overpriced. All rooms face out over the water Super convenient to Highland Village Museum (right next door)... More

I stopped at the restaurant at the Iona Heights Inn and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant also serves as a pub and the atmosphere is great. The view must of Grand Narrows must be one of the best on the island. The service was great and considering that there was only one waitress it was very fast. I ordered a... More

We booked a balcony level room and were delighted with the unrestricted view we had of the lake. The room was really nice, clean and well decorated and reasonably well equipped though there was nowhere to put anything down in the bathroom. The person who checked us in was very monosyllabic but in our subsequent interactions with the staff we... More

If you want amazingly friendly, helpful and outstanding service, then The Iona Heights Inn is a must. We accidently discovered this Inn, but would recommend it to one and all. It had phenomenal views of Bras D'or Lake and owners who went far beyond the norm. There was a pub/restaurant included within the premise. The rooms were standard in size... More

A large group of us stayed at the Iona Heights Inn in August for a family wedding. The rooms were reserved in advance for guests. The rooms were fine - nothing fancy but very clean. Lots of towels. The owners were very accommodating to our needs ie. fans for every room as there is no air conditioning. I loved that... More

My husband and I stayed here while touring around Nova Scotia. They have done a nice job remodeling the rooms with modern updates. The views from the balconies are lovely and the chocolates in the room...a nice touch. We ate at the restaurant which as OK if you chose something reliable. Make sure yo go to the chocolate shop in... More

It's in a beautiful location. Nice room. Very cute decor. No room in the bathroom to put your things. The TV would not connect to any of the supposed channels they have. Not a problem for me but my husband was not very happy. There was a large dog by itself in the room next to us barking like crazy.... More
