Nice big rooms, good bathrooms, very clean. The bed was big and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and included delicious home made jams. A comfortable stay on Cape Breton, ideal location for exploring the area.

At the entrance to Cape Breton Highlands the Pilot Whale is ideally situated as a stepping off point. Our cabin was pretty much what you'd expect in an area where cabin lodging dominates. Rooms were spacious but basic. Wi-Fi was in and out. On the water so great views. Given the accommodations we thought the price was a bit high.

Lovely location. Massive bed, and bedroom. Excellent breakfast, hot or cold available. Not marked as excellent because no tea and coffee facilities available in the room or in the lounge. However water cooler available. Let's face it - most of us need a caffeine fix now and again and with very few cafes in town we found this difficult. Excellent...

Beatrice and John were wonderful hosts. What a beautiful home to let us stay in and enjoy. And the breakfast! Wow! So delicious, Beatrice and Geraldine offered up quite the variety of jams, marmalade and baked goods and just about anything else you could want for breakfast. The room was very big, nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable and the...

The rooms are very nicely decorated, with side lights, case stands, dressing table etc.. The hosts are welcoming (they live on site) and helped us decide what to do with our time in Cheticamp providing local knowledge and recommendations. Breakfast was good but unfortunately not enough seats round the table for all the guests and we had to wait in...

This is a lovely B&B outside Cheticamp in St. Joseph de Moine. It was about a 10 minute drive to the local community with restaurants, liquor store, etc. But as a B&B this was an excellent choice for privacy, comfort, and an excellent breakfast. Knowledgeable hosts. Our suite had a private bath with shower and tub, queen bed with single...

We stayed one night on our tour of the Cabot Trail. Our hostess gave us some good advice on local shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was very tasty and my need for a gluten-free option was accommodated with no problem. Our hostess kindly shared her recipe for pumpkin-lemon jam, which was delicious.

The accommodation was very clean and spacious with a huge room and king sized bed. It did feel as if you were staying in a family home rather than a b&b but this was quite nice after corporate hotels. We had a lovely chat with John, our host, who recommended an excellent local restaurant for our evening meal. Breakfast was...

We stayed at the Pilot Whale Bed & Breakfast and our room was downstairs (Room #4). Our room was spacious and so was the on-suite bathroom. The room was clean but we felt like we were staying in someone's basement and not in a B&B. The B&B felt too much like someone's personal home and not a business (B&B). Breakfast...
