Hansel outdid himself providing wonderful breakfasts. A beautiful setting in 200 acres in this farm which has been in the family for 5 generations. Lovely antique furniture. Comfortable beds and chairs. A wonderful memorable stay

Very comfortable B & B on a 200 acre farm setting. Room to walk among blueberry patches and open fields in the shadow of North Mountain. Room was very comfortable with large bath. Hansel is an excellent host for conversation, information and breakfast cook. Large dining room table for breakfast offered options to share experiences with other guests. Breakfast consisted...

Thank you again Hansel for your help! It's really a nice quiet place, a familiar atmosphere & neat rooms. If available try the Suite! For little more money you get not only a room, but a great look-out, as there are windows to three sides, fridge, coffee in the room, an additional desk & a veranda. It's more like a...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in the suite and found it very comfortable and quiet. The facilities in the suite were more than adequate and everything was clean and tidy. The cutlery drawer needs to be replenished with some kitchen knives and a few other items but the fridge, sink, kettle, etc. were all very useful. The king...

My wife and I stayed two nights in the suite in late August. The setting was beautiful. The home is situated on a lot of acreage, beneath towering mountains in Cape North. The suite, like the house, is a little outdated, but that didn't really diminish the experience. It was very quiet, and comfortable. There was a small area to...

We stayed in the suite. The blanket was old and worn out, the bathroom was in need of repairs and updates. The soap in the bathroom had yellowed paper that appeared to be very old, there was no shampoo. We had very little interaction we the owners. It felt more like a hotel than a bed and breakfast. The king...

Wow what a place! This was really a wonderful stay! The rooms are very quaint and charming, everything is clean and tidy (for all the near freaks out there, including myself) . The owner is so kind and friendly! The price is extremely affordable for what you et in return. The breakfast was very basic but delicious, eggs with bacon...

The best stay we had in Cape Breton! We enjoyed two nights in the suite for our stay. The room was immaculate and the view of the moutains and meadow were breathtaking. The hosts, Hansel and Sharon made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. Breakfast was simple and plentiful and cooked by none other than Hansel...

We stayed in the suite and it was perfect. Spacious, clean, comfortable, private and beautiful views. Hansel made a delicious fresh cooked breakfast in the morning and we loved every minute, including walking the grounds in the morning.
