We stayed one night only unfortunately the weather was not the greatest so could not enjoy the property to the fullest. The hosts were excellent and our room was immaculate. We were in the Lighthouse Room overlooking the water. Beautifully appointed and spotless. Highly recommend this property. Only wish they had TV in the room.

Don't be fooled, be sure to ask for a room with a bathroom. Not sure where I have stayed in the last 40 years where you had to go down the hall for the washroom! Not mentioned on trip advisor! while the owners are pleasant it is not convenient to check in down the street and have no one on...

We loved our time at the Dunlop Inn so much we booked an extra night. Everything was perfect. We checked in at The Telegraph House to pick up our key. Shawn provided us with a map of the Cabot Trail with suggestions & details that made our stay so enjoyable. We were in the Lighthouse Room which is beautiful! It's...

This was the most PERFECT place I have ever stayed. The Dunlop Inn is quaint, quiet, and serene. My Husband and I stayed in room 1 which is upstairs, facing the front of the house. A room with two beds as we cannot share a bed for the life of us lol It was so cozy. My Husband had a...

We really enjoyed staying here. Great location on the Bay with wonderful views. Right next to all the attractions and restaurants. Much nicer than staying in a hotel, felt more like "home" and competitively priced compared with a hotel. We had 3 of the 5 rooms available for our family and found it suited us very well. Lovely breakfast and...

The room was average and noises from other guests could be heard. The lounge areas were outdated and not comfortable. The breakfast offered is a continental help yourself like those offered in many chain hotels. On our second night in Baddeck we stayed at The Lynwood Inn, with a much larger room with sitting area for $40 less per night.

We spent one night at the Dunlop Inn perfectly located at the beginning of the Cabot Trail. We had a room on the ground floor with access to the kitchen/living room as well as the sunroom. Beautiful view of the Bras d'Ore Lakes. Our hostess was very friendly and provided a buffet breakfast. The bed and linens were comfortable and...

My family gathered at the Dunlop Inn for my sister's small wedding this September. She was married on the dock out back, the loveliest day! The staff at the inn were incredibly warm and helpful, and the inn was clean, charming, and lovely in every way. Thank you for a beautiful time, this is a very special place. :)

Wonderful owners, great location and views, comfy bed. We stayed in the Spinnaker Room that had its own private bathroom across the hall - a bit of a hassle but manageable. I would recommend this place to anyone.
