One of the nicest little places I've seen in a long time! I'm not sure if "cabin" is really the right word, because this place felt more like a small home, it was so roomy! Two bedrooms, bathroom with bath and shower, a very large hallway/nook where there was ample room for luggage, shoes, boots and stroller if you had one. The kitchen was fully stocked with dinnerware, cutlery, pots and pans, dish rack, you name it. Living room area was large with TV. Bonus points for the rocker glider, and for having a recycling bin right outside the door. The scenery was amazing, with a little path to a set of chairs positioned for a lovely little harbour view. The owner and maintenance man were very friendly and nice, even when I thought I accidentally damaged a door! 10/10, highly recommend if you're looking for a very comfortable, friendly "home Newfoundland" experience.

Great service, communications and place to stay while you explore this unique area. There are attached cabins but also the one stand alone cottage by the sea just down the road towards L’Anse aux Meadows. We loved it. Appears to be newly renovated and is a fully furnished 2 bedroom, heat producing electric fireplace with a complete kitchen. Highly recommend. Also Skipper Hots Pub and Grill just up the road beside where you check in was also great for lunch. Definitely recommend making the trip North!

The Seashore cabin in Straitsview was great. We only stayed here one night in late June but it would have been good for a longer stay as well. It is right on the water so a great view over the bay sitting outside in the provided chairs. Two bedrooms - the one we used had a comfortable bed. It has a full kitchen, outdoor BBQ (which we used). and a washer/dryer. Large screen TV and wifi. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in unit #1, not actually a cabin, just a motel-style one bedroom unit with kitchen. To be fair, the unit was clean, spacious, and satisfactory for a one night stay. There was no carpet or area rugs, and the ceilings were basement-like acoustic tiles, and so there was zero charm, and no view. The bedroom was small, only one lamp and one night table, and we couldn't get the heating to work. The heating worked elsewhere. The kitchen provided the usual dishes etc, but cheap stuff, nothing matched, etc etc. We were grateful we were only staying one night. If you walk around the back side of the motel through some bushes, you can see the cove, and there's one set of chairs there. The motel was not inviting, and there must be better places in the area, we were expecting a free standing cabin on a cove, but instead got a motel unit with no view.

Apple Maps lead us to the wrong area, so finding the place was a bit of an inconvenience. We finally found it after a call to the owner. The rooms were adequate, very clean; older furniture and a very very soft saggy mattress. It messed up my husband’s back. That is the reason for three stars. The internet was spotty. Everyone was nice and helpful.

Just got back from a fifteen day tour of Newfoundland (not near enough time). Part of the experience was going to the Viking dig at L'Anse aux Meadows. While there we decided to stay at Snorri Cabins; which turned out to be a good choice. WE found the unit to be spacious and clean and our stay was trouble free. The people in the area are great and there is some very good eateries near by. If you like history, it's a must see and Snorri is a good place to stay.

We rented the 2 bedroom ocean view cabin. It's cozy and has a great view, especially when some of the iceberg growlers come into the cove. L'Anse aux Meadows is only 3 kms up the road. Great spot. Cabin is equipped with everything you need, even washer and dryer. Just bring your food!

Easy check in and check out. We had a two bedroom cabin. Kitchen is very well equiped (fridge,stove, microwave,basic supplies) and there are laundry facilities on site (with a landline phone in it-as noted cellphone coverage is inexistent). Wifi worked well and lots of tv/radio channels-we listened to Radio Canada in French Bathroom is OK Water is peaty ;there is a side tap in the kitchen with a filter but quite slow so best choice is to buy bottled water Weakness was the queen bed: somewhat uncomfortable spring mattress. These cabins are a great spot to stay when visiting L'anse aux Meadows. They appear to be newly renovated in that the paint flooring and other things seem new. The bed was very comfortable and a full kitchen if you wanted to cook. Make sure you go over to Skipper Hots for a beer and the best chicken fingers ever tasted.

Stayed in Snorri Cabins two bedroom Ocean Side Cottage, which was a very nice modern cabin. It featured a fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, laundry room, standard definition TV and free WiFi.
