I was very reluctant to try another B+B after a bad experience in Nova Scotia. We flew into Deer Lake and could not find a hotel room. A very kind clerk contacted Judy and she had a room for us. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at ease. We ended up staying 3 nights. Our first night...

We stayed here one night and left early before breakfast to get to Western Brook Pond for the boat tour in Gros Morne National Park. The room was good but very warm and there was no air conditioning. There was a fan and a ceiling fan but they really didn't do the trick to keep us cool. This was an...

Judy and Neil were extremely hospitable. They chatted with us at breakfast and shared a lot about their history and the history of Newfoundland. We stayed in one of the recently built coach houses at the back of the property. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed including ensuite washroom. The place was spotless and very comfortable. It...

We stayed twice and enjoyed it both times. Neil and Judy are so friendly and nice. The rooms are modern and in great condition and we sat out in the very private back yard enjoying a beer in the late afternoon sun. We are very happy that we chose this Bed and Breakfast.

I booked this because my husband was coming in on a late night - actually early morning - flight. This b&b is very close to the airport - maybe 10 minutes to the turn-off from the highway. It is in a nice neighborhood and the yard is just beautiful & private. We stayed in a little one room cottage in...

As we had a very early flight the following morning we were only there for a very short visit. Judy and Neil made us very welcome and Judy left us a healthy snack breakfast to take to the airport which was very nice and thoughtful of her.The room was lovely with a great shower.

We traveled a lot of the Province and found Newfoundlanders to be some of the most friendly and welcoming people we have met in one place. Judy and Neil made us feel welcome from the first phone call to the last goodbye. We arrived in the rain needing a space without a prior reservation and no plans made. They did...

My husband and I recently stayed at Judy's B&B in Deer Lake, Newfoundland. We had a lovely room with private bathroom and everything was spotlessly clean. There was even a television in the room. Judy and Neil are very gracious hosts and we enjoyed a hearty breakfast before leaving the next morning. We would highly recommend Judy's B&B.

Judy and Neil were waiting when I arrived late at night. Nothing seemed to be a problem for them. The room I used was very clean and comfortable. The hospitality was wonderful. Breakfast was generous. The breakfast conversations with other guests were the best part of the stay. Often these conversations would resume in the evenings as guests returned to...

After being on the road and hiking for 10 days, we found this wonderful b & b in Deer Lake, Newfoundland. This was the best bed and shower that we experienced the entire trip. Our hostess, Judy, was very well informed about the area and was a gracious hostess. This was a great place to stay! The only downside was...
