The place was clean, but very old decor. The room really smelt humid. We stayed in the back and can only say for that room. We were limited to vacancy so had to take what was available. If I had the choice would try elsewhere next time.

Location is second to none if you want to see the HopeWell Rocks Park. You are 5 minutes away. We traveled there just before the end of the season and so glad we did. The colours of fall are truly priceless and less people means lower costs and friendly people. The hotel was so much better than advertised. It was...

This hotel was priced right. Needs a little updating but it fit the bill for location. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice little breakfast included with the price. Then you have just a short drive to the Hopewell rocks attraction. Keep in mind the tide times so you can actually walk on the beach under the rocks....

This is the prefect place for staying if you want to be very close to the Hopewell Rocks Park. The lady at the front desk was excellent. The place is clean but dated. No frills. But if you want to be close this is the place. And you get a free breakfast. It was just ok. but it was free.

If you like 1950s wayside motels, you may like this motel. We traveled in a group of three friends, and some of us didn't appreciate the ambiance as much as the others. The interiors come right out of the 50s and 60s. Perhaps the bathroom fixtures come from the same era. Breakfast is free but basic. The best thing about...

Spent one night here. The management was nice enough to let us in our room early so that we could get down to Hopewell Rocks in time for low tide. Try that in a major hotel chain! The hotel is old and the walls are thin but the rooms are clean and the service is outstanding. The beds were very...

We stayed in the motel section. The room was comfortable and include a refrigerator. Loved the screened in porch in the back where you could sit outside, right by your room, watch the sunset (or sunrise) and see the tide come in and out. We had dinner and breakfast (breakfast included with our stay) in the restaurant. The fish and...

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful view of the water from our room. Nice chairs outside our room for relaxing. Very good breakfast...toast, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, muffins etc. Excellent location for touring Hopewell rocks....about 500 meters from park driveway. We arrived after dark, & were wowed by the sunrise view of the water outside our room in the morning.

This hotel is definitely no frills- no hair dryer in room, small quarters, thin walls, etc. We really expected that's how it would be - and as long as it was clean it was fine for one night. However, there is only one restaurant in the area- right next door to the motel and the food there is terrible. My...

(review intended for people who travel to Hopewell off-season, which begins immediately after Labour Day) The rocks are lovely, worth seeing. And this motel is as close as it is possible to get, so it is very convenient. It is also clean, quiet, the bed decent, and overall the place is not particularly expensive. However, beyond those observations, it doesn't...
