What a cute cosy cottage! Lots of great renovations like large new bathroom and new natural gas wall heater. We could lie in bed and see the ocean from the large new picture window with screens. Queen bed was very comfy and we slept well as the property is very quiet at night and we loved the fresh ocean air.... More

This is a clean sweet little cottage but the bed was abysmal. It wasn't too soft or too hard and definitely not just right. I could feel the springs. It was also disconcerting that the owner spent time trashing previous guests for what they did and didn't do while they were staying.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable, very tiny inside, especially the kitchen area, with a very small fridge, couldn't fit our freezer pack in it and had trouble fitting all our drinks and food in, no room for frozen food at all. We had a small view from our cottage and the offered firepit is just an old tire... More

We are bicycle touring around the islands. We have stayed in quite a few similar accommodations over the years. This ranks with the best of them. The positives: Louise, the owner is a lovely lady, clean property and room, good water pressure in sink and shower, small HDTV with good picture, good wifi, waterfront location, very quiet except for a... Cozy, warm, home environment, clean. Seems to be two 1950s vintage cabins joined together and updated to excellent current standards. Ideal for two couples. Attached extra hobbit sized room for children / adolescents if you wish. Full kitchen. Clean bathroom. Great view from each of the rooms. Nestled among majestic cedars. Great barbecue shared platform with picnic table and a... More

I stayed in Cottage #2 in July 2014. The cottage had everything I needed for my weekend getaway. There was a little kitchen, table, and everything needed in my home away from home. I took at 100 yard walk down the driveway outside my cabin and was at the front of the property with a spectacular view of the ocean.... More

Exactly as advertised! After deciding a trip to the Sunshine coast was our 4 night mini vacation, we needed to find a place to stay. Our wish list - kitchenette or kitchen, Queen bed, Clean, close to the ocean and reasonably priced. We chose Catch of the Day - it met all of our requirements and as an added benefit:... More

We loved our stay at these cottages which are located near Seechelt directly at the sea. Louise was very welcoming and showed us the lovely garden, ocean front patio and the fireplace directly at the rocks next to the ocean. In the cozy designed cottage you got a comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, small bathroom, TV and wifi. This is... More

Everyone must stay there. Nice little cabin with bathroom and kitchenette. Shared BBQ and deck overlooking the ocean. Beautiful garden and landscaping all the way down to the ocean. Firepit on the rocky beach, bears walk by at night (keep an eye). Louise and Bob are fantastic hosts. Reasonable price, excellent value. Close to town (walking distance). Dreaming to go... More

We had a very small cabin with a tiny bathroom but it was fine for us for one night. It is fully equipped with coffee maker, fridge etc so you could actually prepare your own dinner or breakfast. The property is beautiful directly at the ocean. If you want to walk into town you have to walk along the street... More

“Relaxing and comfortable place to unwind. Cabin 2 had what I would say the best views. Bring a chip clip to hold back the shower curtain if your husband is like mine, loves fresh air and the breeze would blow the shower curtain in as you shower. Other than that it is a must for places to stay at in Sechelt, B.C.”
