Just spent a 3 day stay at this lovely B and B - the hostess Liz is so hospitable, the breakfasts are yummy, and the accommodation first rate. We would highly recommend this for a couples' getaway! Hopefully we can return.....

Liz & Bill have a wonderful property with views forever - sea, trees, hills - all deliciously taken from the state-of-the-art hot tub on the deck or from your comfy bed. Liz also has some great chef skills and your breakfast treats range from savoury prawn frittata to french toast to omelettes, along with fresh fruit and some of the... More

Just spent a magical weekend on Gabriola Island, staying at the Arbutus Bluff B&B. Arbutus Bluff is the quintessential B&B and Liz, the proprietor and chef made our stay exceptional. Liz is a worldly intelligent easy going former Torontonian and we had wonderful chats and an easy going stay. The place is beautiful and immaculate and the breakfasts were some... More

Arriving at the Arbutus Bluff B & B - one encounters open space, distant ocean views and yes, lots of arbutus trees. Add on the spacious, charming bedrooms (with fireplaces), beautiful bathrooms and a cozy dining area and you've got the perfect combination - nature abound and comfort galore. The breakfasts were delicious and made from fresh ingredients with coffee... More

Amazing B&B. Liz was a fantastic hostess. Breakfasts of raspberry crepe, eggs Benedict over crab cakes, fresh salmon omelets. Fireplaces and dual shower bathrooms in each of two rooms detached from owner's residence. Giant hot tub on deck overlooking the water with comfy chairs for sitting, reading, and watching the hummingbirds and deer. Liz is also a Pilates teacher and... More

Thank you for recommending Arbutus Bluff, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay here. When we designed our B&B we incorporated elements that we loved from B&Bs that we have stayed at ourselves. I love sharing the fresh local ingredients with our guests, like the raspberries from the farm next door. More

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated like royalty. What sets this B&B apart is the attention to detail. The architecture is interesting and functional. The stone shower is spacious and bright. The soaps are artisan made (down the street!) and the decor completely perfect, from the crisp ironed cotton sheets, to the adirondack... More

Truly a beautiful B&B. Very European in design and decor. The private and peaceful setting on a bluff overlooking the ocean and islands is beautiful especailly at sunset. The rooms are very large. I loved the natural stone walk in shower with skylight and cozy white robe. To add to my Gariola experience I was greeted by hummingbirds who were... More

We enjoyed our one night stay at Arbutus B&B on Gabriola Island. Located away from the 'hub' of the island, in a gorgeous forested area with beautiful views. There is a long, shared driveway leading to two homes (could use a sign pointing to which one is the B&B). The hostess was welcoming and professional. IOur room was beautifully appointed... More
