This was a highlight of our accommodation in Canada. . We all just loved it. We had 5 couplies in fully self-contained private suites and our beautiful lounge and kitchen area downstairs where we had some coffee and a couple of drinks all together. It was great that the fireplace was all set up for a lovely warming fire as...

Simply put, the resort was outstanding in every way possible. Beautiful, spacious, clean, and extremely well-run, kept up, and with a fine attention to detail. I would readily recommend this fine establishment to others.

We had half of the upstairs of a cabin and everything was fine. Virtually nobody else there as it is primarily a heli-ski resort, the main clubhouse was shut as was the restaurant. He owns ( or seems to own) the diner place over the road, so that's where we had to go for breakfast. It would have been fine...

After 12 hours on a tour bus, we finally made it going around the long way from Whistler. This was due to an avalanche on the main highway through, which cost us an extra 4 hours driving. The resort was so nice to get to and the log cabins were very spacious and comfortable. The resort had organised for our...

Travelling back to Alberta from very hectic time in B.C., we decided to treat ourselves to Mike Wiegele's lodge for a night. What a delightful stay! Beautiful accommodation, inside and out. Super comfortable, super quiet, lovely atmosphere. The grounds are spectacular. The only drawback for us was that the restaurant is not open in the summer, as we would love...

My husband & I stayed in July. BEAUTIFUL area and resort. The cabins are very well appointed with luxury items like a steam shower, jaccuzi tub and very comfortable beds. The grounds are well kept with a lake and beach and lovely paths to follow. The train is fairly close, so you do hear it, but it's not like its...

When your parents ask for a weekend in cabins on a lake to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary, go gold or go home! How about a private log chalet to share with our whole family, right off Eleanor Lake, nestled within the Heli Village and surrounding mountains of Blue River, BC! The beautifully detailed, peaceful resort made it a pleasure...
